What's been said like? It's the same fucking bloke every week who sits right behind us, he's generally a complete idiot and will say something racist at least once a game. It's weird though because it's rarely said in anger, like when Man U were chanting the racist bastard song, he said 'well, we've got a canny few xxxxxxx in our team as well'. He seems to just have no sense at all and thinks it's funny or something. I'm considering making a complaint against him tbh but if it doesn't lead to him getting kicked out it's gonna make life pretty hard for us for the rest of the season, that's the dilemma.

disagree Ian, I thought the team looked significantly more functional with Raylor instead of Obertan. He was much more decisive in that he either passed it short, quickly, or he carried the ball for a bit and then tried to find a man. Obertan's just head down for 15 seconds dancing around the ball making absolutely no progress while the other team get 10 men behind the ball

If the choice was Ba on a free with a release clause (which involves a certain amount of money coming IN to the club if it's activated) or paying a transfer for someone else, I could easily see us giving him that clause. I'm not saying it's likely, but it's not as cut and dry as some are trying to make out imo. Either way we should be improving his contract at the end of the season to the sort Tiote's on.

Well exactly. I said earlier (along with everyone else, like yourself) that it would have been us in the driving seat when it game to contract details. I have no doubt about that. It'll be a good contract that pleases both the player and agent...but it will not be full of special clauses that benefit the player. you all make it sound like Ba was being picked up off the fucking street man...lets not forget ashley clearly wanted a striker without paying a fee so perhaps if his deal is heavily incentivised (sp) based on how much he plays, we had to agree to a minimum clause to 'get the deal over the line'? this is exactly the point i came in here to make. we weren't doing Ba a favour by signing him, considering we desperately needed strikers it's perfectly feasible we gave him a release clause considering we signed him for free.

They were my initial thoughts too. Although ultimately I wouldn't be surprised if we gave him a clause on signing. Getting him for free and selling him for anything would be profit.
