Hates them both. 2 of our most talented players. Madness. Re Ben Arfa, quite a few share the opinion that his performances so far since his return have been well below par. What the fuck are you expecting man? I would have liked him to improve his fitness / match sharpness in the reserves as Marveaux did. Im a bit insure why anyone finds this strange??? Anyone who does should at least give some sort of opinion as to why this hasnt happened. I can't see the down side tbh. Marveuax's been fit enough to play in the reserves for longer, has he not? You wanna be complaining to Pardew really by the sounds of it, to my knowledge HBA's missed one reserve match he had a chance of playing in due to family reasons. His performances are gonna be low par for a while until he's match fit, he's still changed the way the team can play play twice in two appearances totalling 60 mins though. We've scored a vital equaliser and a vital winner with him on the pitch. Not bad.

we're capable of beating any of them it's almost as if it's because we haven't anything for so long it just doesnt matter to some people. it's the status quo so they have no issues with it continuing. -

you'd play them in the semi's onwards though? two extra games gonna hurt em that much? I think it will, in fact I wanted one of our centre mids rested against Wigan too. Football is a squad game now yet you could predict 90% of team sheets on here for the rest of the season, people wonder why Man Utd come on strong at the end of the season but I put it down to their high workrate players being rotated properly, come March the likes of Rooney, Nani and Hernandez will still be fresh. While we don't have the squad depth that Man Utd do we have players that can step in and do enough to get the job done, Ryan Taylor has showed that since being given a chance at left back so it's not going to hurt to rest Jonas now and again and play Marveaux and Obertan, or rest Cabaye for Gosling or leave Ba out and go with Best and Ben Arfa. Bizarre as it might sound maybe some of our young players in the squad might actually improve with more game time rather than being another unfulfilled talent we talk about in a few years from now. all good points, Resting Ba and Jonas I can live with as we've got decent replacements. can't do without Tiote and Cabaye though imo, especially with Saylor missing the spine would be ripped out of the team. -

That's just about the right balance imo, i'd have Ba or Best and Krul playing though, you dont need to rest keepers and Krul's a proven match winner. -

Gonna be really pissed off if he goes with a piss weak team including smith,Loven, perch and the likes. -
Yeah, I'm pay £550 whilst someone in the same area will be paying £200. Lord knows why I'm not happy, need to get a grip really... are you gonna ask for a partial refund on your tv when the price drops on that as well? You not read a single one of my posts in here? Thought not. i haven't read the whole thread no, posting in between uni lectures. just scrolled up to a post where you mentioned same product same time though so i presume it's that sort of thing you're alluding to when you answered your own question. are the people taking advantage of this offer buying at the same time as you?

i'm not sure how anyone's losing out?

indeed, he did a good job against wigan

At twice the cost? Why would you do that? Why not just wait and see if there's another offer like this? It's not like having a season ticket actually saves you much over individual match tickets anyway. you'd keep them on at twice the cost so you could still have a season ticket, with no guarantee of another offer like this. But they didn't want/couldn't afford one at full price in the first place... Deals on remaining home games are a pretty regular occurance IIRC, but this is very early for one IMO. at the start of this season aye, things change. it's harder to not renew a ticket than it is to not get one in the first place, imo. (mentally, not financially, and especially given we're looking like having a canny season)

wise move by the club imo, will increase season ticket holders quite a bit and with us shaping up to have a decent season hopefully they'll keep them on next year

not sure, his last two sub appearances have been canny good
