Should start against Stoke IMO,Pardew can use the extra height at the back excuse if he wants to. Against Stoke we need to keep the ball and he'll help.

Be brave enough to make the changes before we lose a game Alan,it's clear what needs to happen.

Newcastle United 1 - 0 Wigan - 22/10/11 - Post-match reaction from page 28

You can't play well every week but we got there eventually. We rode out luck a little but had our chances, they simply didn't commit men forward do didn't capitalise on a few crosses into the box. We've struggled against teams that pack the midfield all season and Pardew needs to counter it next time it happens. Ben Arfa once again gave us something different and we were a better team in the second half. Marveaux looks a very tidy player. They don't half fucking whinge in the east stand mind, this actually happened....... 'what's all this tippy tally nonsense? All we've done today is tried to keep the ball, you don't win any games doing that!' Unbelievable. -

i'm inlcuding Santon in the two full backs btw, I mean improvement to the first team -
title change imo 50/50 RB LB clearly implies RB Natural

Have to say I agree with Sewelly,we're simply in need of reinforcement elsewhere, still think two great full backs would be the main improvement. -
Excellent news that he's putting extra work in,good lad. We're so close to having a fully firing Ben Arfa now! Hope he's allowed to get up to match fitness before November as he could very easily be the difference in that hard group of games.

O Shea still in their team in 3 years will be a sight to behold like

I've said previously that I don't think we picked up because he was on the pitch, we picked up because we went a goal down so had to take more risks in throwing people forward with Spurs happy to let us to try and hit us on the counter attack, something that they are excellent at. I think there's more to it than 'picking up' though. I think the ways in which we could attack were expanded on through having him in a central position.

just bought that as well, it's the 1999/2000 kit
-
That's a training top not an away kit. aye that was always possible, looks nice though and it'll do for playing football. never been less gutted tbh
-
you can see the slope clearly from the leazes end if you look at the very front row of the east stand, there's concrete that gets bigger as it heads toward the gallowgate end.
-
anyone know what year the away kit on this page is from? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150665461515?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_500wt_1293 i've just bought it like, i think it must be a third kit from the late 90's as it's not shown on the away kit list on historical kits

i see, well clearly whether he had a good game or not is subjective. however i'd suggest it's a bit more objective to suggest that because of the type of player he is we had a new dimension to the type of attacking football we could play once he was on the pitch. whether he lost it or not is irrelevant to the second point.
