not aimed at you in particular mate but since you mentioned it. why is it that all of a sudden its deemed a good idea to sell your players when they're out of form? are we so ridiculously impatient these days that we cant wait for a player to get back in form again? i agree that 24m is a bit over the top, but i keep reading people saying stuff like this, dont get it.

villa have got pace to burn on the break now, impressive. wish we'd bought him. not surprised he's asked to leave the mackems though, they play pretty awful stuff.

The goal Shola's glaring miss at the start Shola under little pressure headed over from a corner Colo had one cleared off the line And towards the end there were at least three opportunities to kill the game off, Best had a great chance and dragged it wide, Enrique bursting through etc yes. but they had at least two clear chances i can remember with bent going through and gyan made at least one mazy run into the box with the ball at his feet, plus a header over the bar from a corner not too dis-similar to shola's iirc. there wasnt much in it in terms of chances created.

jesus, how f***ing stupid would that have been? Would have cut us deep, no mistake. In fact, didn't they play that at SJP after every game not too long ago? Fans wouldn't even have noticed.. a couple of nufc fans would have noticed Yeh I reckon a few would have definitely noticed that. i'd probably be in jail

why not? the internet is exploding and we have to watch that space for something concrete? just sounds a bit daft mate. op is a bit sensationalist, reads like the sun website

he got lucky with taylor being injured too and I suppose you're not gonna mention anything about losing Carroll for quite a few games. If you're gonna include injury as a factor of luck, then at least post both sides of the story nah i'm not gonna mention carroll because it's not relevant here. he mentioned pardew being lucky because smith was injured and had to be removed, therefore someone else played instead. it's about team selection, pardew was lucky that taylor was injured because he would've picked him ahead of williamson based on nothing other than taylor's just signed a new contract, and contrary to how much better we perform as a unit when williamson plays, and that's consistent btw.

Tiote's high energy and drive should have given the attackers more freedom. Pardew wanted to progress, so took the gamble. At the time I was wary, but if it had paid off, who knows. As soon as he was sent off though, and there is a degree of hindsight here, it ended up an absolutely dreadful decision. Can't see us wining against the scum without Tiote in the team. fucks sake man, he was one yellow away from a ban, it was a dreadful decision to have him on the bench Two tbh. tbh, i checked the nufc website during the stevenage game and it said he was on 9. that's my story and i'm sticking to it

few mistakes early on but did what i've been saying all he does season, made our defence better as a unit

I honestly don't know how any one can criticise Pardew yet... bar Stevenage we've been at least as good as under Hughton, probably a bit better. He's also been without Carroll for quite a while. Far enough if people just don't believe that he is the man to take us forward (for whatever reason), but for what he's done so far he deserves no criticism IMO. Aye, when you take out the bit where we got destroyed by a League 2 team it doesn't seem too bad. or the bit where he came in and needlessly changed around our team for the worse even though he said he'd watched all our games (i didnt expect to beat man city or spurs before anyone pipes up with that shite) or the bit where he brought on tiote against stevenage in a move so staggeringly stupid it looks like sabotage, or the bit where he publicly started criticising one of our up and coming talents who we happen to need at the minute. or the bits where we got points against wigan (barely) and west ham (worst premier league team i've seen at st james for a long time) and liverpool (nothing to do with him as he admitted). all in all he's had a good start.

"You have to make them favourites with two big players like Andy and Cheik out of our side..... “Newcastle caused Sunderland a lot of problems and produced a really first-class display. Andy (Carroll) was crucial to that. He affected the two centre-halves and was a big feature in that game." jesus, did he say this? if i'd been in that room i would've bummed him in the face. what an absolute fucking charlatan.

ahhhh, they'll be 'like new signings' !! i guess his focus has shifted from 'knocking on the door' for funds to knocking on the door to borrow a pen to write a contract? this thread is gold btw, it's only ever gonna end badly. fucking alan pardew ffs.
