Honestly we are the worst footballing side in the league. Stoke, Blackburn and a few others play disgusting brands of football but they at least have a plan and stick to it. We don't do anything well. We don't have a style of football because we don't even play football. I'm still not sure what they do out there because it isn't football. Just a bunch of random actions between some really cluelees players' feet and the ball, while hoping something comes out of nowhere. West Brom play better than us, Boro do also and God forgive me even Sunderland figure out the occassional passing sequence a couple of times a game. We are the worst team in this league and if we go down we really can have no complaints at all. i know it's captain obvious time but that's what four managers in a season will do for you, especially when 3 of them are either terrible, not managers, or its their first month in the job

difficult decision regarding formation. the 4-3-3 could be key to us staying up so it could be vital to get another 90 mins of the players adjusting to it, but with the way liverpool play i could only see us getting our arses handed to us on a plate. i just dont like the idea of us playing a different formation every game.

Neither were the two other strikers who played last night, actually. Owen is hiding 99.9% of the time he is on the pitch. Viduka hasn't even managed to find his way on to the pitch and has been hiding in treatment rooms. If Owen was hiding he wouldn't have stolen Martins's throughball to fluff that 1v1, and he was doing plenty of defending for us on top of that (not his job though, and should have saved his stamina for making runs to get on the end of things instead). f*** off with the Viduka comment, what is he supposed to do about that? You know what you're right. Owen isn't so much hiding he's just become a really really rubbish striker who never gets attempts in on goal because he cannot shoot from outside the box, cannot go by anyone or make any meaningful contributions to general play (the occasional cute but non-incisive link up play DOES NOTHING!). You keep waiting on that perfect ball Micheael, so we can all watch you fluff it again with another one of those pathetically weak strikes of yours. What can Viduka do? How about making a commitment to his team and taking better care of his body? He's a disgrace. All his fitness problems have clearly been down to the despicable condition he is in. Or they both could be out on the piss all of the time like Martins does. i dont think its coincidence that he's spotted out on the lash all the time now and he's had a very poor season. i dont remember this being the case when he first arrived and he looked pretty good.

Ole-Einar Bjørndalen is a norwegian biathlete who quit drinking because he could never be the best if he continues doing it, alcohol does nothing good for the body and i think if you look at the greatest athletes in history i think you will find that most of them didnt drink. Just to putting it out there but I'm sure I remember reading somewhere that Alan Smith is teetotal so is thierry henry. as far as i'm concerned its pretty obvious that if you dont drink alchohol, which is a poison, your body is generally going to function better than if you do. i drink quite a bit fwiw, but then i'm not a professional athlete.

Stoke aren't some sort of team of monsters, a lot are just six foot blokes, so what? Players like Defoe and Benayoun manage to survive in the PL (Zola in the past as well) no reason why Ranger would struggle (size wise at least). This, I think Stokes physical presence has been exaggerated to the point that people think we're going up against a team of body builders. been to see him play yet mate? i've been once and i can comfortably say he's not ready I'll take Shearer's assessment of him being ready or not over yours any day though. so will i mate.
