i can see why like. would you be pissing yourself laughing if the mackems had a black and white bird on their strips? i would. To be honest, if Sunderland's new shirt sponsor happened to have a penguin as a logo, I'd hardly see the link with ourselves. It's hardly as if the Puma badge is like the pussycat on their shirts. a penguin? alright then, let me re-phrase the question. if the sunderland top had a magpie on it, would you find it amusing?

and its fucking bollocks anyway, that strip's still the best thing about this club, was the only thing that kept me going for a few months.

What is wrong with your brain Nothing whatsoever wrong with mine, but your faith in Nile Ranger shows just what yours is like. Incapable of commenting in defence of young Nile ? No bloody wonder. Barn doors and three paces spring to mind, don't they ? What springs to mind is moron tbh He did fine with the chance, it was a great save. The problem though regardless is that near the entire side missed chances throughout the entire game & you've chosen to comment on an 18 year olds 1 touch of the ball in the last 5 minutes. Then you try to form an argument about bias towards a player. It couldnt be more laughable. You can lead a horse to water, but despite the bleeding obvious he won't drink Just remind me again - ONE goal in HOW many ? Bias against ONE player ? You THAT stupid man ? I criticise the lad for NOT producing. He isn't no matter how much you want to con yourself. I'd have thought if he was going to be a striker with a good future we'd have seen something by now. Thats bias ? Don't be so bloody stupid. i've seen something. good movement, pace, tidy on the floor, not great in the air but not bad and has scored headers in the reserves. all that along with his reserves scoring record points to a decent prospect. depends how you look at it. oh and this doesnt count as a bite, its far too reasoned. -

nice to see the real nufc show up for the xmas period. what an awful second half performance, after such a good first half, its things like that which make me question hughton. why on earth cant he keep them going? did derby change what they were doing to stop us and we ran out of ideas? and i fucking hate, HATE shola ameobi. i remember making a post like this before but even if that daft cunt scores a 100 goals in one season he'll still be shit and i'll still hate him. what a joke. -
hahaha jesus what a belter
-
'ball comes to samba and he's put it wide, i dont know how he's missed it' perhaps because he's a centre half being played upfront by that fat stupid cunt allardyce?

dont know what to expect today at all -
Out of interest why Moyes ? a mixture of likelihood that he'd come and proven premiership experience. everton have always played decent football under him imo and he's done well on a budget, i think? just seems to make sense. that said he'd only come if we had new owners and cash i suppose otherwise what would be the point in him leaving everton, unless he fancies a new challenge.

first time i've seen diamanti live, he looks pretty tidy in posession, apart from that totally over hit pass

I don't think it is necessarily the case, though it's a likely outcome. If we get promoted and start badly, he might also be given time. And if we get promoted, we might also start well. We need to get away from the gloomy habit of treating every worst-case scenario as if it's a nailed-on certainty. Look at this season so far. Much better than most expected, no? i agree about the second paragraph, my point is more to do with ashleys intentions to be honest. if he doesnt sell, i just dont trust him to do the right thing by the club ever, at all. i expect him to be happy for us to become a yo yo club and just keep hughton in for as long as possible because he's cheap and tows the party line. maybe my hatred of the man is clouding my judgement but he's already proved how little he cares for the club and as long as the money keeps coming i dont think he cares (i know he's not in profit but if he keeps costs down he will be eventually) by the way i realise that appointing hughton has so far proved to be successful in that we're top of the league, but i still get the feeling the reason we're winning isnt hughton as much as us having more quality than other teams in the league, i only remember us playing well against peterborough. i dont buy this 'shit, league, have to play shit to win' mentality. if we've got more quality we should play better football, imo. fwiw if we got promoted i'd go all out to get moyes.
-
i keep reading a lot that hughton will be gone pretty early next season if we get promoted and he starts badly. why do people think this is necessarily the case?

Would you extend Harewood's loan until the end of the season?

feel a bit cautious about this one. IF they come and have a go at us, which away form tells us they probably will, we'll struggle. -
i dont actually think shearer's interviewing him, if you listen to it the ambient noise changes when the person speaking does, sounds like alans questions were dubbed on afterwards in a studio
