Mostly knackers with a smattering of fine. Football supporters are a good reflection of the general public. -

I think, and I could be wrong, that this is the crux of Ian’s argument. There’s a huge assumption that ‘loyalty’ is linked to the amount of money someone has put into something. That’s a societal issue, though, which is so deep rooted that a lot of you can’t see it, and why the argument is circular. How do you define loyalty? For a lot of you it’s clearly linked to money where a football club is concerned. That’s fair enough, but there are other ways of thinking about it. I think that’s the point.

Will be interesting to see if it plays out this way, I expect it will, but I also suspect Wilson is a favourite.

Allan Saint-Maximin (now playing for Fenerbahce, on loan from Al-Ahli)

Yeah, when you see him making an effort to pass more, you realise why he normally doesn’t bother, he’s not great at it. I also think he stands out in our team as we tend to lose possession around the opponents box, he loses it much deeper. I think that’s part of why people get on his case. -
The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Champions League

That’s fair. I just don’t see him getting much time, hard to make an impact when you’re not playing. -
Quite a few aspects of his game yesterday reminded me of HBA. The raw pace, natural dribbling ability, quick/accurate first-time passing. And he appears to work really hard out of possession, and is big and physical. In summary, potentially the best player in the world.

Find it hard to believe ASM has a big part to play in this team. -
It’s worth repeating that the fans are the best and worst thing about NUFC.

I haven’t.
