  1. What is the equipment needed to broadcast a game which necessitates multiple artics worth of gear being loaded inside the stadium? A mobile broadcast rig is just a self contained truck with cable running in to it from outside. Everything inside the stadium is small enough to manage easily.
  2. No. Getting there is fine. It’s not a good place to hold, move, park trucks.
  3. Burn the non-believer.
  4. No-one has said it’s an insurmountable problem man, that would be mental considering what happened over the weekend. It’s just a pain in the arse to set up and significantly worse than other similar venues. What’s wrong with you people?
  5. Are they setting up audiovisual production equipment for 50,000 people, on the pitch?
  6. Aye but London, modern logistics.
  7. It's difficult to name many venues in city centre locations which hold really large capacity shows which aren't permanently set up for them. They're all a little way out of the centre, where it's easier to do things. There is only one 'large' entryway on to the SJP pitch and it's situated underneath a structure with a height restriction.
  8. That's a bit uncalled for, don't you think? I'm glad you had a fantastic night. All of the production equipment that facilitated your lovely time had to be loaded in to the stadium. All of it arrives on articulated lorries which are cumbersome to get around city centres and difficult to find places to hold while they're being unloaded and to park over the weekend. The lorries are packed with large boxes, which hold the equipment, the boxes have wheels on them so they can be pushed to their final destination for setting up. The simplest version of this is that you park the trucks right next to where they're needed (stage, front of house desk, etc). Here I'm going to encourage you to think a little. You can't get a truck on to the SJP pitch, or anywhere near. How do you think those boxes got to where they need to be? Just take the equipment that was needed for the strawberry corner stage position. Where would you park the trucks to unload them and how far would you need to push the boxes? Where is there an access way big enough to load in really large items?
  9. As I told you, it’s an informed opinion
  10. I didn’t mention shape of the stands You can choose to believe whatever you like. SJP is a pain to put a gig on for various reasons which amount to further costs when compared to other similar venues, which is why it rarely happens.
  11. It’s an informed take.
  12. Terrible place to put a gig on unfortunately, access is bad, can’t park the trucks anywhere. Production costs much higher than other venues.
  13. Don’t worry, they won’t be using the in house system.
  14. Get his combined 11 please.
  15. Yeah I’m not grotesquely stupid, every business in the world has limits on spending, NUFC are no different. However, the notion that it’s as well defined as 60-80m plus incoming from sales is naive at best. They’ve been fed that line multiple times before and they go for it every time.
  16. Every single window. There is no budget.
  17. It’s weird, I don’t think it’s sunk in yet.
  18. Champions League with this squad is some achievement. Hasn’t fluked it either, 70 points and maybe more. What a guy.
