I’ve written a lot of words on here about Pardew over the years, and I could write loads more but I’ll save everyone from having to read it. Suffice to say that when he was appointed I was football obsessed and by the time he left I hated the game, and my club, and eventually spent a few years paying absolutely no attention to it at all.

Have to win, for so many reasons.

He'll improve us, I don't know how anyone could come to any other conclusion. That's where we are as a club right now, lots of potential but little else. Appointments like Howe and Ashworth are about right IMO.

I'm hoping this too. My only gripes with Howe so far are selection based, he needs to start getting it right now.

His last two jobs have been successful with the FA and Brighton, that's about it.

He's going to be involved fairly soon, you would think. LOTS of preparation to do before the Summer.
