Not for me Jeff, Willock is a real threat and carries it forward really well, he also has a history of scoring goals which we really, really need. I think some are going to be shocked at how competent we look in all phases with Bruno and the Joe's in midfield.

I appreciate this point but I do think it will be a case of 'what the fuck was I on about?' once Bruno actually starts and we see how much of an improvement he is.

Sitting right behind the gallowgate goal last night so watched him a lot. I think his issues go way beyond nerves/excitement/etc. He looks ADHD to me (though I'm not a real Doctor) and his constant ticks seem to be coping mechanisms.

Pressure's slightly less now off the back of the Everton result but we 100% need a draw as a minimum and could go a long way to assuring survival with a win. Really looking forward to seeing how we play. I reckon get Bruno in to look after FC.

Heard an interesting little bit of info last night via an ex-Bournemouth member of staff. Apparently the notion that Howe is very 'matey' with all of the players is inaccurate. He's 100% improvement and football focussed, very intense, and Tindall does the majority of the friendly, morale building stuff.

I didn't want to slag Lascelles in that post because I thought he had a good game TBH and the OG wasn't his fault. I can see why he's keeping Lascelles as captain as it basically means we have two.

Others have probably mentioned this already but I was sat right behind the gallowgate goal and he literally picked our players up out of the goal after Everton scored. You could see him willing the team to victory throughout the whole game. He's a really special player, the most important signing we've made in god knows how long.

Agree. We didn't have time for Howe to learn not to play Darlow and Clark, and those decisions cost us. We don't have time for him to play it safe, he needs to get the team selections right now until the end of the season because there is no margin for error. The board have backed him in the transfer market and he needs to capitalise on it and not be conservative like he has before.

Huge game, this, huge. He has to get the selection right, no excuses.
