  1. Wigan can suck a bag of dicks. Come on lets beat these fuckers.

I did last sunday and my knee is f***ed. I've had trouble with my knees for ages and was the best it's been for years till that game and now I can only play once a week (sat afternoon on grass) or I would be in trouble with it big time. I'm a big fan of 4g (much better than the old astro) but when it's frozen you might as well play on concrete with thin carpet on top. Man, I've actually done that before (playing on concrete with a thin carpet on top), my ankle rolled under me when I tried to beat someone. I would rather play on straight concrete instead.

They wouldn't be so popular in many places if they were seriously much worse regarding injuries than normal grass. I prefer grass but that's just down to being used to how the ball bounces. Its popular mainly because its relatively easy to maintain, whereas grass is dependent on the local soil and the weather. Also, FUCK EVERYTHING.
  4. Why? How bad has he been this season?

Good job that we didn't get many, it took us 83 minutes to get our first corner
  6. Elliot Debuchy Mbiwa Taylor Santon Tiote Cabaye Sissoko Marveaux Cisse Gouffran This is one game I'd sacrifice the wings for, Martinez's 5 in the middle is an absolute bitch to deal with without enough bodies there.
  7. Yeah, pretty much this. They aren't quite as good as they were last season though, when they were beating top 4 sides for fun.
  8. Getting mugged so early in the game shook his confidence.

    Alan Pardew

Meh, this is the sort of performance we were putting in last season. Nothing new and its about as good as it gets with him.
  10. Still can't get over how small he is. He looks like he's about half of Anita's size

    Papiss Cissé

His all round play today was about as good as I've ever seen it, too. Good hold up play and ball control.
  12. But I thought he can't play on the wing? Fucking brilliant today like. It was still fairly obvious that he wasn't fully comfortable on the right wing though. Has no confidence in his right peg at all.
  13. Yeah, best performance we've seen from him for a while.
  14. Marveaux, Hatem and Cabaye all on at the same time pls

  16. 2 mil tops, more like. He hasn't done anything in the last two seasons to command a fee larger than that.
  17. Very good point, I think we would be sacrificing a lot of Sissoko's best attacking attributes attributes if we played him in a midfield 3 with Cabaye and Marv. Horses for courses, et cetera.

Thought it was alright, although he could have released the ball a bit quicker, especially in the first half. I liked the one-two he tried with Sissoko.

Aye. Honestly. It doesn't have to be a particularly entertaining match to enjoy it, like. I guess I'm just not that much of a purist. I had some class craic with the, almost exclusively, jovial people around me. Even though it was about -13 and we were watching turgid football. The general atmosphere has improved tenfold since January. I really don't think I've laughed as much, walking out of the ground, as I did today. It was a class day. I am surprised at how much I ended up enjoying the game as well, love those last minute goals. Pardew, I hate your guts, but fair play on the subs today. Besides Jonas fucking Guttierez getting 90 minutes anyway, but that's a given.
  20. I don't think there is a position without dropping a better player tbf. Yep. That's the problem. He could do a very good job in the AM role, but I don't want to move Sissoko out wide or into a deeper role. I don't mind seeing Sissoko wide every now and then, the middle part of the pitch gets a bit too cramped for him at times.
  21. Marveaux and Sissoko with an assist each, woohoo
  22. To be fair to him, it did look like he was trying to pull out of the challenge.
