Aye those two professional games as a defender are more than enough experience to be thrown into a regular PL slot. So should Alan Smith start ahead of Sammy? If you are going to play Sammy as a holding midfielder then yes, if you dont understand the concept of positions in football then no. Uhh, I'd rather play Sammy as a holding midfielder over Alan Smith.

I like this. Good shout. The line up reminds me of the side Aston Villa brought to SJP last season though, as in its a bit soft through the middle. I'd like to see a midfield 3 with Gosling/Guthrie in it.
-
4 matches into the season and he's being written off already <_<
-
In fairness SWP was genuinely good today, wasn't just Raylor who was making him look good. Then again I could have sworn we were playing Barca's midfield in the second half, going by how good they looked compared to us.
-
That would have made for an amazing transfer window Losing both our starting fullbacks
-
In fairness Raylor hadn't been given too many chances to parade his shitness up till now >_>
-
I think that's a part of it, there's only one player in the backline I'd pass the ball back to right now. Was just thinking about it and seem to remember Enrique would occupy that middle of our own half position on the left side far more than Raylor, i.e; he was confident enough in his ability to move forward, push on and manage his winger. Thinking back, I think his departure may have left a significant 'out' for Tiote. Not excusing his shit form in other areas but this could be part of the problem. IIRC, Enrique made a huge number of completed passes when I checked him on the Guardian chalkboard last year. Losing a ball player like him was bound to hurt the players around him.

Probably has something to do with the magical coaching he's been having to curb his yellow card problem.
-
He'll pat himself on the back for taking "a tough away point", then take off his mask and reveal himself as Fat Sam.
-
Jonas 6? He was beyond horrendous. Worse than Walcott headless chicken-wise. Could have been worse, how fucked would we have been without him taking the ball out of defence. Tiote hasn't been great this season but anyone who seriously thinks we should drop him should take a quick look at the player most likely to replace him in the starting lineup.

Welp, points for Krul on my fantasy prem team. But mein gott Pardew, wake the fuck up.
-
OH RAYLOR WAI U TROLL US SO HARD
-
Thank fuck for that, if that went in Raylor would be a starter for our next 5.
-
Well, Tiote hasn't been very good but... short memories much?
-
I'm going to end up stabbing my screen when Raylor loses the ball again.
-
Jonas coaching Raylor on the finer points of playing LB <_<
-
ARRRRGHHH HOW MUCH LONGER DO I HAVE TO WATCH THIS
-
You could say the same about Obertan at the moment, he doesn't look interested in getting the ball at all.
-
Well, there's a reason that people are impressed when footballers show off their 5 GCEs or whatever elementary school qualifications they can muster. How many footballers in the premier league don't have agents, I wonder. James Milner, who else?
-
No. I'm guessing that was how it looked to him when he first bought the club.
-
Err, no. The shareholders got 138m from Ashley still, its just that the club is paying Ashley back everything he paid them. No. Not even fucking close to reality. I actually posted before I read yours, so <_< Wouldn't have bothered if I did.
