It's a 1 year extension for a backup player, until the takeover goes through officially we've still got to function (if we ever have under Ashley) as a club. We're hardly going to ship everybody out and a whole new squad in should we get taken over. It'll have no baring what is happening takeover wise.

There is no such thing as a Premier League club temporarily in the Championship. They're a Championship club by "merit" and until it's confirmed they're going back up, they are just that. However, I could still see them buying in but with caveats where Ashley gets the full amount should we be promoted.

If it does happen to be true, then hopefully it may force Ashley's hand in getting rid of Bruce. We can but dream.

Probably bollocks but could see it happening. Ashley won't need to sack Bruce which saves him money, new owners can get get somebody of their choosing and when they take over get rid themselves. That's dependant on how confident/close a take over is (and all hope on my part)

I'd personally prefer a stadium with all sides the same size, purely for the sound aspect.

I can cope with a draw, Bruce lucky again but at least it isn't a win for him to give it the big "I am" and a point to keep us muddling along in the league in the hope a takeover comes.

Maybe you should read up that it isn't sucked straight from your mouth/nose, nor are you heremetically sealed once in there. I'm not saying they are totally safe, but they are a lot safer than making some assumptions without reading any evidence on the matter. Much more likely in the UK getting it going for a drink or going through an airport. Who said I was making assumptions without reading evidence, I may be wrong, I may be right, however, sitting in close proximity to others for hours on end where you'll be bumping and touching is more than likely a lot more problematic than 30mins or so in an open environment where most interactions are going to be fleeting. Not that it overly matters as it's the wrong thread for it.

I hate Bruce as much, if not more as the next bloke but where's he meant to sit whilst waiting for a flight.? He's allowed a pint like, you can't just go and sit and wait on a plane for hours

Not his biggest fan and I wouldn't want him here but I don't see any issue with that, both put across valid points. I'm impressed he actually cares about getting games if anything, although the "i'm going to see Daniel" part is a bit cringeworthy.
