Defensively they are on a par however technically Lescott is far better- much more composed on the ball, decent passer, makes good runs upfield. For versatility he is also superior. Plays left back almost as well as he plays centre back which can't be said for Dawson.

Hibbert is a very solid player. Great defensively. Not too good going forward but he does his job as a defender well. There are a lot of RB's poorer than him in the Premiership. Huddlestone I think is a really good talent. Will be a top player with experience. Mido and Van der Meyde have lots of talent but their attitude stinks

Carlton Cole is a dreadful player with a very inflated opinion of his own talent. Whilst on loan to us, he gained the nickname "Can't Control". I was quite impressed with Ekotto when we played Spurzzz Maybe I've caught him on his bad days but whenever I've seen him play for Spurs the opposing team ends up going down that flank all the time once they realise how suspect he is. The guy is also on record as saying he doesn't even like football.
