Thuram looks completely off the pace in La Liga. He'd probably have a heart attack if he played against the likes of Bolton and Watford.
-
 Complete bollocks Ronaldo had no bearing on the result whatsoever. He was largely invisible and obviously carrying a knock when he came on. Lescott got the better of him, no doubt. Man Utd's first 3 goals were due to individual mistakes by Everton players. Fact.

By the standards of his time, he was a good player. His work rate was phenomenal. I think he'd have struggled with the more technical demands of the Premiership though. He was more than just good, one of the best of his generation. He wasn't just about workrate either.

Your police and stewards are the worst in the country in my experience. Sad little wankers with giant chips on their shoulders that take pleasure in throwing kids out for nothing

Because Nugent is technically a much more talented and intelligent footballer. He will make it at the top. Chopra is one of those players that will score goals in the lower leagues but just can't do it in the top flight imo. There's been countless of them over the years.

Dida has become Didaaar as well. Like what happened to Drogba.
-
He started out commentating on Everton games for Radio City. If you had to guess, you'd say Man Utd for Key 103. He might as well just be having a wank half the time.

It depends where you sit really. In most parts of Goodison and Anfield you can get away with sitting in with home fans but if you went into the Lower Gwladys or the Anfield Rd End as an away fan in a derby then I don't think it would be pretty. Stevie- Liverpool fans throwing stuff is nothing new. We get spit, coins and piss every year because their club lets their fans sit in the tier directly above the away section instead of segregating it properly. Anyway, since when did most passionate mean most trouble? I was in the Gladys street lower tier in 2002 or 2003 (can't remember which) - Gerrard scored early doors. Heard nothing but whinging reds fans! Maybe people were too depressed to kick off. If I'm thinking of the right one it was an early saturday game and a gutless performance by us. I hated that day.

Not impossible! Manchester City and Everton are vying to sign Cardiff striker Michael Chopra for £4m. (Daily Star) Complete bollocks. Chopra isn't good enough for us and our own youngster Vaughan will be a much better player. He's got a quality all round game, Chopra hasn't. The price tag is ridiculous as well. Should be more like £400k. He's just not Prem standard imo and never will be.

Just because someone plays in the Championship doesn't make them bad players. Lescott and Cahill have been brilliant buys for us
-
He was hyped as the next big thing.. but was actually pretty crap. Played for Man City and Wolves for a bit, then ended up at small lower league clubs. He was at Chester City for a few years most recently, don't know if he still plays football any more.

Yes. am i right in thinking he left city after being caught up in some east german mafia car theft scam? He had already left us (He was only a loan player), but yeah he got done by der polizei...Got a suspended sentence for it I think, as he was only a minor player in the whole dealie and hardly made any money out of it. More famous nowadays for being butted in the groin by Boris Johnson. There was another old City player in the news not so long ago for being involved in some cocaine thing. Played for Everton as well I think. I cant remember his name either (Got the memory span of a goldfish sometimes). Mark Ward wasn't it? Yep. Mark Ward. Once scored the winning goal in a Merseyside derby, ended up dealing crack.

Felt sorry for Nyarko tbh. I didn't. He was a lazy shithouse that put in awful performances. When we signed him Wenger called him the new Patrick Vieira and after flopping with us his stock was still so high in France that he went to PSG and Monaco on loan. He went awol while on one of these loans mind. Think he ended up in the Norwegian league. Fucking wanker.

Just as rubbish as she is on the radio

The fact he never made it for a bottom half team in France would worry me. He's probably found the perfect level for himself playing at one of the higher quality Championship teams.
-
Was he one of the really, really shit Italians at Forest?
-
He's shit. I've always thought so. Apart from Ledley King all of Spurs centre backs are rubbish. That's why they've conceded more goals than pretty much everyone bar the relegation sides.

"Who needs Eric Cantona when we've got Barry Horne" He was pretty crap actually but he gave 100% and just for that goal against Wimbledon he's a legend. As for Goss- I remember him scoring for Norwich City against Bayern Munich!
