What was the point in calling up Coleman if he isn't even gonna be on the bench? Exactly the type of player you can bring on to make a difference in this scenario. Tossers.

I've been once and probably wouldn't go again even though it's about half an hour down the road. Absolute shit, soulless away day.
-
Why would we be shitting it? We've played well in most games this season, just couldn't put the ball in the net. Hopefully Saturday brought an end to that. Liverpool on the other hand.... well, they've been getting the results their play deserved.

This was my favourite bit on RAWK today (re: Torres) Like a lovesick teenager pining over a bird

If we don't beat Woy's shambles of a team in the derby I might just give up
-
Yeah, I just saw that on SSN

2-0 AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Well in. Hope you go on and twat City now, gang of cunts.

RAWK is absolutely hilarious at the moment

First 2 were clear cut and the 3rd was 65/35 in favour of a penalty. Not sure what people (Dave) are actually complaining about. The last one, for handball, was never a penalty.

"CHEE-CHA-REETOOOOOO" Fuck off you tosser

Are you joking? The relatively few times I've seen Busquets he's looked nowhere near the level required by Spain or Barcelona. That said he may be hindered in my eyes by being one of the biggest cheating twats I've ever seen. At least Busquets can pass a ball more than 2 yards.

Think the mancs will get beat tonight. They've looked pretty average so far this year and have a few injury problems on top of that. Johnny Evans to get shown up again

Don't even think it's American, tbh. My mam used to call them football jerseys. If anything, football jersey is more old fashioned than football shirt. We've got a song going back to the 60's that mentions "royal blue jersies"

and I still didn't rate him back then

So was Jo.

More established..? How many years were NUFC in the PL before Stoke managed it ? If Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal or even, never let it be said, Everton, were relegated for one season, would you then say Stoke were a more established side and expect those sides to drop points to them ? OK, so we are not those teams but we have a much longer presence in the PL than they do, we have much bigger gates and we have been in the CL twice as well as regular Euro football in the period between 1994 and 1997. There is no comparison between the 2 clubs and when at SJP, we SHOULD be able to beat these teams...just as we expect little from games at the Top 8 right now. Relax. I'm not saying Stoke are a bigger club or more famous etc but the reality is that you're a newly promoted team and Stoke are now, in my eyes, a stable Premiership side who will comfortably stay up again. It's not a disaster to lose to them.
-
Stoke are now more established in this league than Newcastle are, like it or not. It's not a massive shock that a side who have been in the league fairly comfortably for a few years now have gone and won at a newly promoted side. I personally had it down for a draw but that point you've dropped is more than cancelled out by unexpected results against us & Villa. No need for mass panic.
-
I still think you'll stay up reasonably comfortably, about 15th or something.

Goodison Park, Anfield (loads), St James Park, Old Trafford (x2), Eastlands, Pride Park, City Ground, Emirates, White Hart Lane (x2), Stamford Bridge, JJB Stadium, Ewood Park, Old Wembley and New Wembley (x2)

Is it just me that's noticed the weird bursts of really high-pitched chanting at a few points? Wtf is all that about? Gotta be some sort of piss take, surely.

I'd be massively surprised. There is no way on earth that Kenwright would sack him. They have far too comfortable a relationship for that to happen. It would also cost us millions which we don't have. Besides all that, there isn't even any pressure for him to go from the stands. i could see him walking tbh if things don't pick up soon That's the only way he'll go. Won't be sacked.

Much like Arsenal and their goalkeeping situation, Everton really need a fit and consistent striker to take them forward. We played very well today for large periods of the game and had several chances but have just got nobody to put the ball in the net. That's been the case in a few games this season. Overall, I'm pleased with how they played after the shambles against you lot and the cup exit.

Could still only muster half a bench though. Squad depth is virtually non-existent.
