Everton get 25% of any profit they make on Rooney
-
Exactly. As I remember it, he did well to keep Coventry up as long as he did before they eventually went down. Did a great job at Soton & was the most successful Celtic boss since Jock Stein. Boro is his only failure. On paper it looked like a good appointment for them and a good route back to the Prem for him. Just never worked out for whatever reasons.

they'd have to get shot of moyes first. They're on good terms now. Rooney accepted an invitation from Moyes to play for Everton in Carraghers testimonial but wasn't allowed out of the England camp. I actually think he'd come back here if he could but 18months on his deal means a massive transfer fee will be required. Maybe if it was 6months left on his contract....

Blatantly running down his contract to come back to Everton and win us the title.

"has to live with Kevin Nolan" I saw that on SSN earlier and was baffled.

Everton are magic. Roy must stay. I'm pissed & going to bed. Thank you and good night.

I'm not bothered if you dislike us but to say we're anything like Liverpool is ridiculous. It's hard to think of two fanbases in the league that are more different.
-
We could if we had any actual wingers. Moyes doesn't play with wingers in his team and hasn't for years now. The only one I can think of who ever nailed down a regular spot was Kilbane for a couple of years.

Tom Hicks is a gentleman and a scholar.
-
Should do. He's started the last two on the right wing.

Scotland 2-2! wtf
-
Yeah, I guess so when you remember all those great Turkey players. Not sure I could name more than one now though. Arda Turan maybe. They haven't got many stand-out players but they've still got well more squad depth than the likes of Azerbaijan.

They may be a club that will benefit once the new rules kick in and there's more of a level playing field financially. They seem to have a good youth structure, and they give young players a chance at first team level. I think they must also hope that their manager stays. He's been over-achieving with them for quite a while now. I seriously doubt that the financial field will be more even in the foreseeable future. The richest clubs will still win most things. Imo, Everton are sharply on the decline. The team has gone stale and ceased progress, and the owner is not overly liquid. What will change? Denilson is nothing. An inferior player. He's still young, but it is an indictment of Wenger that he has been in the first team over the past seasons. Talk about knee jerk... Pienaar aside we've just tied all of our best players to long term deals and have good youth coming through

How come you support Newcastle then, out of interest, if your family are blues?
-
Am I the only one baffled as to why this is being played in Derby of all places?
-
We supposedly want Krancjar as well. Was in the nationals at the weekend and the local papers ran it today. Be a decent Pienaar replacement I suppose.

Man U have been twats over long period of time. Man City are relatively new to the t*** scene. They're really not. I'll also second whoever it was that said he's always generally found Utd fans to be alright & City fans to be tossers
-
Liverpool, Man Utd & Citeh.

People should lay off De Jong. It's obvious he feels he's got something to prove after being named "Nigel". If I was called that I'd probably be going round one punching randoms at the bus stop.
-
Why hope that? Does my head in the way fans of other clubs fawn over them. They've made their bed so now they can lie in it like everyone else would have to. I'm not saying they don't deserve it :S, did you enjoy the slip from the top? Then eventually the premier league majoritly down to mis-management off the field? Can't say I like scousers like, seem to have more mongs than us :| But you did say "let's hope they come back stronger". Why exactly? It seems to be a common thing. The most annoying example being when people say "the league is better for a stronger [insert struggling big club]" which is total nonsense. IMO the more clubs struggling, the better for me & my team.
