His injuries haven't been that bad with us really. Over 50 appearences in nearly 2 seasons.

About time Brum had some bad luck

Cadamarteri was never that great really. He should have stuck around in the Premiership a bit longer but that's about it. Jeffers on the other hand could have been a big star. His intelligence and movement was superb when he first broke through. Another Everton one is Billy Kenny. Could have been the forerunner to Steven Gerrard. Cokehead who is still only in his 30's and plays Sunday league. Ended up stealing from the dressing room at Oldham. I found this from the Guardian on Google, good little write up apart from the daft last sentence: And another one of the dogs of war,Joe Parkinson, whose career was cut short by injury, always felt he was a very good player. Yeah, Joe Parkinson was class. His performance up against Paul Ince in the 95 cup final was great.

The new accusations are all over the internet anyway... not sure I can post them here though?

Can't believe Bridge has got that many votes, he's awful. I'd take Cole, Baines, Johnson and Brown. I chose Brown over Richards because he's similar to Johnson in that he's pacey and decent going forward but can't defend. I don't think we need two full backs of that ilk for the same flank.
-
You're right that Defoe blows hot & cold but at least he can do it at international level some of the time. Bent is a player that's perfect for the Premier League but looks well out of his depth in international games imo. I would take Rooney, Cole, Defoe and then probably Crouch to make up the numbers. No Cole in the poll though so I'm boycoutting this!
-
No Carlton Cole? He's like Heskey but actually good.
-
I was gutted we got turned over by Birmingham the other week. Really let ourselves down and missed out on a great chance to get into another final. It's wide open for anyone, with Chelsea being the only team left that I would fear facing (no disrespect, I'm sure you'd feel the same about playing us in a cup tie)

I know there was a bit of a buzz about Guzan but I keep thinking of a couple of mistakes he made in the cup recently so that might be clouding my judgment Hahnemann is one of the worst keepers to get regular football in the Prem over the past few years imo. Hart is quite a lot better than him, he's had a surprisingly good and consistent season. I don't think Keller has ever been better than James, not now & not when they were both younger, hence James playing at the top level for longer and for more big clubs than Keller did. Neither are anything special though. No idea about Perkins but I think you're overrating the US keepers outside of Howard & Friedel quite a lot.
-
I hope he's better than Bruno.
-
He's a good keeper but not great. I'm probably a bit harsh on him though after watching Neville Southall & Nigel Martyn (on the England subject, why didn't he get more caps? Better than Seaman, fantastic at Leeds especially) play for us.
-
Really? Who? I'd say Howard and Friedel are better than the likes of Green & Hart but not massively so. Guzan is nothing special from what I've seen and Hahnemann is poor. Am I missing anyone?
-
I'm more shocked that 12 people have voted for Almunia. If England didn't naturalise Cudicini back when he was one of the top keepers in our league then why would we have Almunia? He's fucking rubbish.

Butterfield is a ledge.

Hart, Green, Robinson

f***ing hell. Woeful but not that surprising. They only mustered just under 17k for our match with them at the weekend despite there being 5k away fans. And that's a Sat 3 o'clock league game against a half decent side rather than a cup replay no ones arsed about.
-
Yeah. I think that was partly because he fell asleep in the afternoon after training and no one could reach him I remember that I would love to have seen his reaction when he woke up, looked at his mobile and saw about a hundred missed calls from Arry, Peter Storrie, Sven and co. I'm seeing serious potential for a Benjani-based sitcom here.

Seen him score a few crackers. Don't know much about him apart from that but he can't be THAT bad since your nearest challengers Forest spent about 18months chasing him and a few other good Championship sides were linked.
-
There's not much to choose between them but Baines has got better technique and is better going forward imo. Warnock is a bit more solid defensively and a fair bit taller. Depends what type of fullback you want really.
-
about time he lived up to the hype. He's only been doing it for 7 years. Inconsistently. Because Ferguson held him back by using him to do Ronaldo's donkey work and fucking him about on the left wing
-
Upson is lucky he'll even be on the plane. Yard dog. I had to laugh at all the stuff in the papers about Wayne Bridge missing out on the World Cup because of Terry as well. The lad is shite and it's baffled me for ages how he gets picked ahead of Baines & Warnock when he's been so poor week after week for City.
-
He was ok. Couple of shaky moments where he didn't clear his lines properly but apart from that was decent. I went yesterday. The DW Stadium and the whole area around it is absolutely shit. Nowhere decent to drink, characterless and for a new stadium the facilities are crap. The concourse and toilets were a total joke, massive crushes. Even where I sit in the Gwladys St which is about 700 years old has more facilities & space.
