  1. Yobo is fit but won't fill in for Hibbert. Very good centre half but he's one of the worst I've seen when played at right back. If we have enough midfielders available (which is a big "if") then Neville will go to right back.
  2. I'd love to see him in the Premiership not going to happen though

    Spain vs England

Jags made 3 great last ditch blocks- 2 on Torres and 1 on Villa. Ok, he messed up for the goal but if any of the England midfield actually wanted the ball and gave him an option then it wouldn't have happened in the first place. He is limited with his passing/technique but it's not a problem playing for us because the likes of Arteta will drop back, take it off him and start a move. I lost count of the amount of times the whole backline was passing it between themselves before being forced to hoof it. England's midfield was totally outclassed.
  4. No he's not. He's out of the cup game on Sunday. Nothing has been mentioned about how long he's out or whether he'll play at Newcastle. Anyway, looks like I might be coming to SJP for this one
  5. That new England kit is fucking woeful
  6. A very unfair statement. How many of these gloryhunters started supporting their clubs at a very young age? Can you really blame children for wanting to support a club they hear a lot about? It's the people with a bit more mental sense about them that decide at a more mature age to support the successful teams that are a problem. And the worst of them all are those that pick and choose and change clubs when they feel like it. I'm someone who 'chose' his club at a very young age - I'll freely admit to having no connection to Newcastle - for whatever reason, but I have and will forever continue to support the club through thick and thin. There are people out there who won't support 'their' club if they're unsuccessful - these aren't true fans. I suppose you can't blame kids (depending on how old they are) but you can definitely blame the parents. Gloryhunters are just wrong.
  7. Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. Sven is a chequebook manager and Pompey are in asset stripping mode.

    Tony Adams Sacked

Avram Grant for Pompey I reckon.
  9. At least they've got an excuse- a man sent off and one of their top players got injured early doors. Spurs are totally clueless despite all that AND having home advantage.
  10. Webb refereed the Merseyside derby the other week To be fair, he did a good job but he should never be let near their games in future if he's singing that shite
  11. When do the cards get wiped out btw? It's sometime soon isn't it?
  12. If he plays well they can just have him back at the end of the season As if he'd want to go back to a shitty manager and fans who are on his back instead of instant hero status and a quality manager. After watching him today you can see the lad is a class act. He will kick up a fuss to stay here imo.
  13. If we're counting stadium tours I've been to the Nou Camp and Bernabeu Also been to watch Marine at Rossett Park aka the Arriva Stadium
  14. Goodison Park Anfield Old Trafford Wembley (old one) City of Manchester Ewood Park White Hart Lane Stamford Bridge Pride Park City Ground Emirates Deepdale
  15. Just watched that before. Very weird! He usually just makes sarcastic comments or answers in as few words as possible when he doesn't like the question. This spat with Victor must have upset him.
  16. To be honest both gobshite teams on merseyside and there fans are like peas from a pod We're nothing like each other. You may think we're a bunch of twats for your own reasons, that's fine. But to say us and the redshite are "peas in a pod" is just wronger than... er, a really wrong thing.
  17. I'm not going to say anything that would get the site in trouble but Michael Johnson is bad news. Well known.
  18. Nah, Chelsea are in a mess this season. Liverpool are more of a threat but still never going to win it. Man Utd will walk it.
  19. David Moyes really should manage Liverpool. You must admit, they are a match made in heaven? (or hell) I think there's worse managers than Moyes for moaning about decisions- Hughes, Ferguson, Wenger, Warnock and Benitez himself come to mind
  20. OMG their fans are the worst, most clueless mongy fucking cunts in football Gerrard gets away with a sending off, Lampard wrongly gets a red, Liverpool get every 50/50 decision and yet they're chanting "Fuck off Riley" when he correctly books Gerrard for diving. Utter, utter twats.
  21. He's been awful at City but was banging them in for CSKA. Working with Moyes might do him the world of good since Hughes has been a disaster this season, bar Steven Ireland every player is turning in worse performances than under good ol' Svennis. Even if he's still s*** he can't be worse than Anichebe has been recently. Why work under David Moyes when you could get the chance to play under Kinnear? Some people are just crazy like that. He might like a challenge.

  23. Daft pen, right on half time as well
