This is taking the piss. Seriously, normally I’m not a violent bloke but I think Mr Ashley is long overdue a visit. Maybe after a bit of a chat we could persuade him that it was in his best interests to hurry this process on a bit, get things moving a little, explain to him the error of his ways.

Where have you been over the last season, man? There's been real-world evidence left, right and centre. This season the fans of this club have behaved like the stereotype put upon us by the media and the rest of the country, I'd previously thought that stereotype was total bollocks, and I'm pretty sure that it did indeed used to be so, but this year it's been pretty close to the truth. People seem to be behaving how the media expect or encourage them to behave. Whereas before there was a sense of: "You keep publishing that bullshit about us and we'll do our best to keep our dignity and carry on supporting our team in the way we've always done." Now it's more of a "You keep publishing that bullshit about us and we'll do our best to live up to it and in the process play a part in sending our club down the shitter." situation. I'm complaining about people losing all touch with reality and giving credence to crackpot theories like; Ashley bought us for a bet to see if he could take us down, Ashley is deliberately trying to f*** us over, Ashley is trying to drag out this takeover simply to ruin our season, etc etc etc. People's sense of reality is so warped at the moment that I could well see the same s*** happening all over again with the next owners if they don't come in splash a s*** load of cash, take us up as champions and storm our way up the Premiership next year. NE5 was right about one thing and that was that a lot of people who follow this club seem to think we have a divine right to success and are simply not happy with realistic targets and achievements. Those people seem to be in a huge majority at the moment. Utter tripe IMO. We still averaged 48,000 last year, we still supported the team as they were relegated woefully, and we will still support the club in the league below. The sheer number of catastophic errors by Ashley along the way has led to some people suspecting a deliberate ploy to f*** us up, I don't believe it myself but I can't say I blame them tbh. It's ludicrous but then so is what has happened here over the last year. Divine righters, for not wanting to be relegated. f***ing hilarious. No one has a divine right but ….. when you look at it logically, we have the third biggest stadium in the country (and fill it most games), fanatical support (to the point of stupidity) good catchment area, fantastic city, all the ingredients really, just missing a bit of stability and someone with half a brain to run the club. Total mismanagement, I mean Joe Kinnear ffs, ……laugh? I nearly bought my own beer!

as for the scouting thing, we've signed about 5 promising youngsters from around the world this window and improved the squad a bit on a very tight budget. i wasnt expecting miracles, it appears some people were. Tripe like that really doesn't help your argument. there's about 100 pages of people screaming "omg f***ing buy anyone!!!!" "who? f*** it, buy him!!" they're almost suicidal because we havent significantly improved the squad on a very small budget. The problem is, most people on here realise the current squad, in its current state, will not keep us in the Prem. It’s quite simply false economy not to spend in this or the last window. Not just not to spend but to sell and make a profit…… false economy

I can't believe I'm writing this but....... On Feb 10th the club will begin to take money from the accounts of all season ticket holders who signed up for the three year deal. I'm so annoyed at the way the club is being ran, I've just rang my bank and cancelled the DD. The guy who took the call was a red and white too, he was only too happy to help! Personally, I think there is a hell of a good chance we'll be playing Championship football next season, I don't want to be paying Premiership prices, probably won't renew at all. Just a "heads up" really.

is Taylor better than Duff on the wing? he certainly isn't better than N'zogbia. Horrible window yet again Really..a player from Bolton and one from wigan?? Shows how low our expectations are..buying off clubs around us.. Yep should have signed Lampard and Ronaldo. No one's asked for massive signings FFS Just an improvement on our squad I think we have done that. we have. but most people made their minds up months ago that we havent. In what way do you feel we've improved the squad? given wanted out and handed in a transfer request. little we can do about that. harper is a more than adequate replacement and is free. £6 million up + big wages gone. just a loss/a draw at best. n'zogbia WAS NEVER GOING TO PLAY FOR US AGAIN. lovenkrands WILL PLAY FOR US. £6 million up. win by default. nolan is better than butt, smith, geremi and is far more reliable than barton. win. taylor plays in many positions and is a decent squad player (squad depth innit). win. overall, improvement. not a huge one but an improvement. Every striker we have is carrying some kind of injury.. We only have two fit fullbacks ..... (I include Taylor in that) We have very little creativity from the middle of the park. There is no real pace in the team apart from Oba. Too many injured players, 17 year old untried kids on the bench. FFS man! we arent man city. we have essentially zero money so we weren't going to hugely improve the way most expected/demanded. We are also not Darlington, our owner has got a few bob and I know he has put a lot of money into the club already, however when we go down........... he'll be wishing he'd spent in January. he doesnt have as much money as you want him to have. i realise it was too late, but he did bid £16 million for 2 midfielders and we have been bidding for players throughout the window. how good kinnear is at "doing deals" should also be questioned. If we'd really been bidding for players all month (which I seriously doubt) we should have done better in the window and Ashley appointed Kinnear, (which imo was also a mistake). I'm afraid the buck stops with MA, who are you, his Dad? yes, the buck stops with him to a point. he's clearly given kinnear money but he hasnt spent it well (nolan seems fairly kneejerk and taylor was exchanged). I think the point is, he hasn't spent it at all. I suspect MA was in control of all things financial this month.
