This is true. I'm gonna put us back to normal in about 10mins. But yeah, say that if you like.

We were following your twitter with much amusement.

The last few hours have been the most enjoyable spent using this forum in years for me.

Ben Arfa will give Enrique cause for concern simply because of how often he cuts inside. Try to take Enrique down the touchline and he'll generally eat you alive - come inside him and he struggles a lot more.

Is there a more terrifying sight in football than Ben Arfa having possesion of the ball in his own box?

Please don't post videos of the incident. If people want to see it they know where to look. I don't see any need for it and don't want to see it on the forum.

It's an awful thing to hear but he's just saying what everyone else is thinking tbh; it's clearly very serious and if they were still trying to resuscitate him in the ambulance I'd say that outlook is grim enough to acknowledge the fact that he might not make it and compare it to similar incidents...

Dortmund are the best team in Germany and OM beat them twice in the group stage with an aggregate score of 6-2. No team in Germany should intimidate them. People underestimate Om because the team in rubbish. Dortmund are top of the league on consistency but an in-form Bayern are far more devastating and could beat any team in Europe on their day. 1. Dortmund were completely out of form the time they met Marsaille. They would probably beat them now. 2. Bayern couldn't "beat any team in Europe on their day". I long for the day when The One comes to the Allianz Arena for the first time this year.... Of course Bayern could beat any team in Europe on their day man - take off your blinkers. Take "on their day" as their performance against Man City in Munich earlier in the season, for example. They would've beaten anybody that night. Munich's problem is consistency not a lack of ability.

If they were trying to defend it didn't look like it. I was going to say, I saw nothing of defending the lead from Napoli tonight. They played on the backfoot from about 15 minutes onwards trying to break on the counter-attack. Chelsea scored twice, then you could clearly see the switch in their mentality when it went to 3-3 and needed a goal. When they went 4-3 up they dropped deep again. They certainly weren't trying to play on the front foot, which is their usual game.

Napoli made the same mistake tonight that Milan almost made last week - you simply can't try to defend leads in the CL for the entire match. Should've just played their natural game, especially considering they can't defend anyway.

No it's not alright if it's copyrighted and has clips of football in it. If it isn't and it doesn't then knock yourself out.

Right... I know he's awesome, but no more videos please. That includes direct links or indirect links and it also includes whether any of us are online or not. It's like the fucking teacher leaving the classroom for ten minutes man.

I read this thread up to page 223 then got bored of it and went to general chat.

List of "most balls lost" in La Liga: http://www.superdeporte.es/deportes/futbol/primera-division/estadisticas/balonesperdidos.html Man, Pep should bench that Argie fella. And VI wins the discussion[/end thread] Again, the issue is not how much he loses the ball but where he has lost it & the situation that puts us in following that. A lot of the time I'd argue this comes as a result of him being thrown on late when we're throwing men forward trying to rescue the match - it goes without saying that if we lose the ball in those circumstances we're going to be susceptible to a counter attack.

He doesn't lose it any more often than the other fuckers, it just gets noticed more because of the expectancy when he has the ball, and because Pardew's drawn attention to it. He lost it countless times today Did he fuck, man He lost it no more than Jonas did by running down blind-alleys. Lost it no more than every other played did in the first half by lumping it aimlessly long. I'm a million miles from his biggest fan but I'd love to see some statistics on how often each player wastes the ball, as I don't think Ben Arfa would be anywhere near the biggest culprit. I'm not talking about Jonas, its HBA thread. And he did lose it countless times, tell me how many times he lost it? Dunno, I didn't count It's a bollocks argument. He does lose the ball occasionally, but no more than other players, and it's offset by the fact that he's infinitely more likely to do something useful with it. So countless right? If you're being literal. I'd be surprised if he lost the ball cheaply 5 times this afternoon.

Today highlighted the difference he makes to our team. Doesn't lose the ball any more often than Guttierez does, but is far more likely to do something with it.
-
Deserve nothing for the way we set up in the first half.
-
Absolutely cuntish defending, that. Can we start playing football instead of playing like a League two team now please?
-
Never used that smiley before, it just seemed more appropriate than the other one.
-
I can never understand how a professional footballer who practices every single day can struggle to put in crosses from dead ball situations with consistency. It's one of the easiest things to do in football, so the cunts should be perfect at it. Infuriates me.

Certainly seemed very harsh dropping him. Should've been tried on the right from the start instead of Taylor if Pardew felt he hadn't done enough to displace the two regular central midfielders.
