  1. Quite happy for him to remain relatively overlooked.
  2. Not sure about that, but it might suit us from a footballing perspective.
  3. From the way it was described it was a tad bit more vitriolic than someone saying "yeah, you were a bit shit there mate".
  4. Aye, that's ridiculous regarding Obertan like. If any of the culprits are on here, I'll happily disregard our abuse rule for a moment to say you're fucking twats and a complete embarrassment to our fans. What kind of impression of our club must that kind of thing give the likes of Anita/Amalfitano/Bigirimana etc?
  5. Their defending has looked shaky as fuck in both games so far; in particular they've had a habit of getting caught 3 vs 2 at the back which could be very interesting with our forwards running at them.
  6. To be fair, he wasn't playing anywhere near this poorly back then. He wasn't exactly playing well mind.
  7. Without wanting to jump on the anti-Obertan bandwagon, it's amazing that he kept Ben Arfa out of the team for so long like
  8. I was happy to see Ben Arfa taking it ahead of Demba like. Never thought for a single second that he was going to miss.

    Erik Pieters

We don't own Debuchy though. He's an upgrade on what we've got...
  10. Did anyone check the treatment room? Maybe he accidentally went there out of matchday habit.

10 internets to you sir for using a classic! Ah here comes the "I knew he did it on purpose all along" brigade.

Here comes it'll be alright on the night brigade. One of those sentences that doesn't make sense grammatically, then when you fix the grammar in your head, still doesn't really make sense in terms of meaning and context.

I'd rather he was honest about it rather than bullshitting like most players. If he does the job on the pitch then I don't care what his motivation is.

    Alan Pardew

Well that was certainly an "astonishing attack". Incredibly strong words there from Alan.
  16. There is no way Cabaye will be match fit based on 20 mins of action in 2 months. Yeah, I'll trust the judgement of the coaching staff over the judgement of neesy I think.
  17. People are getting far too worked up over these friendlies like. If the coaching staff weren't happy with the fitness levels of Cisse/Ba/Cabaye et al, they'd be playing. They're obviously content with them and don't want to risk them picking up injuries ahead of spurs.

    Curtis Good

Aye the puns are a bit shit now like. Move on.

    St James' Park

That would completely fuck up our long ball game.
  20. Happened in one of our matches back when Shearer was playing. He complained to the ref about the 'keeper (my memory's failing at this hour as to who it was) holding onto the ball for more than the allocated amount of time, and we were awarded an indirect free kick which we scored from iirc.
  21. I'm guessing it must be Pardew/Carr who have at least a sizeable input in the maximum offers though, surely? I can't see Dez or Mike sitting and figuring out each player's market value.
  22. Thank God. Don't thank him, thank Good.
  23. Anti-pun rule to be introduced shortly I think, with the most severe of ban lengths.
  24. They looked dog shit last night like.
  25. He'll be fine playing the friendly then returning. With other players I'd be worried about it being only three days before, full faith in Colo though.
