I'm think you don't know what you're talking about. No it doesn't

I'd rather think they were busy searching for a new manager, as opposed to being busy thinking of bullshit to feed the fans.

Exceptional post Mr Iain, couldn't have put it any better.

Can everybody please refrain from personal insults and abuse towards one another? Frustration may be rife, but the rules still apply. Thanks.

Don't know what to say.

Wow paragraphs are your friend man, that's so hard to read. I've edited it, being the user-friendly moderator that I am

On the contrary, if there's a rich investor who wants to buy us a new server, I'm all ears...

I have to admit that I would feel slightly cheated, after all these years of not winning anything, if we finally did it by splashing £300m on players. I know that sounds silly.

Better?

That was deliberate, James...

Haha, I win Andy. Actually, in a twisted kinda way, I think I win even more

Dave is rubbish at thread titles

Well, not really... Again, it's about how you interpret the quote. I don't believe for one minute that Jonas just turned up for training one morning, and Keegan had no say whatsoever in his signing. It's pretty obvious that Vetere found him, and perhaps did the vast majority of the negotiating. But there's absolutely no way in hell that Keegan didn't ultimately get the chance to say yes or no to his eventual signing. Just to add to this, I think people take quotes far too literally sometimes. Anybody who has studied language, and in particular dialogue (and even those who haven't, really), will be aware that people very often miss out words based on the former context of the conversation. It seemed pretty clear to me that Keegan's "got" referred to having "found" Jonas, as opposed to having already signed him. As in -- Vetere: "Kev, we've done our first wave of scouting and we've got this guy called Jonas who we reckon could be interested... Could be worth a look?" Not as in -- Ashley: "Kev, this is Jonas. Jonas; Kev... You might want to watch a bit of youtube so you know what position to play him in and that..." Would it actually suprise you if Jonas was just bought without Keegans say? In the current dilema it's very hard to be suprised by that suggestion. I don't know, only Keegan/Ashley etc. knows, but Keegan OBVIOUSLY has issues with something behind the scenes. I can't really see a side to this that makes KK out to be anything other than "in the right". Yes, I'd be extremely surprised due to the fact that he's lasted as long as he has without saying anything. As others have said, I think the problem lies more with the outgoings rather than the incomings. Certainly in the case of Barton and maybe to a lesser extent Milner, and also including the Michael Owen contract scenario. It seems to me that the required efforts to keep the aforementioned players have been (or were, in the case of Milner) far more prominent on the part of Keegan than on the part of the board.

To be fair, that particular quote has been taken out of context... I'm pretty sure Keegan meant "When I heard we'd got this guy called Spiderman (lined up), I looked him up (and then decided whether or not we should sign him)." I refuse to believe that he had no say whatsoever, or he would have walked long before now.

He likes the role of Dick too iirc.

Supermac talks out of his arse just as often as the other two, in all honesty.

I don't like Llambias. I've never met him, heard him say anything or actually physically seen him in anything other than one photo... But that one photo was enough. I definitely don't like him.

I personally think the admin needs to invest in some better users, otherwise any investments in the server would be a complete waste of time.

I heard a similar thing, but about Carlo Nash. I heard he had an affair with Kate Nash. It's just what I heard...
-
Wasn't it Ashley who made the comment about the wow signing in the first place? Fickle cunt!
-
I'm glad we reached page 100 lads. Even if Keegan isn't coming back, who really cares after making such a landmark achievement?

I like how he ranges from stating that he "really THINKS" the llambias story is not far from the truth in the first paragraph, to essentially stating it as gospel truth by the end of the post -- the only gospel truth is that nobody outside of the boardroom and Keegan himself knows what the fuck is going on, as has been quite categorically proven today. Just more tiresome shit-stirring, regardless of whether it turns out to be true.
