Although it superficially looks like Ryan Taylor is doing a good job from those statistics the "dribbled past"statistic is quite concerning

Dan raised a good point too earlier, the ball drifted out needlessly loads from their stylish centre backs lofting it over the top. Has to do mostly with the throw-ins, right? The commentators kept banging on about the wind as well.

That's probably true, and we'll see what happens against The Manc teams and Chelski, but you can only play what's put in front of you. Is it our fault the fixtures came out how they did?? I'm quite optimistic about our next 6. I reckon we'll get: 3 0 0 1 1 3

Krul 7 - Did well given the pressure, but few outstanding moments and a few howlers. R Taylor 7.5 - Helped out a lot by Jonas, but looked more solid than expected and played quite a few decent little balls.. S Taylor 6.5 - Quite a few silly errors but one or two essential touches. Also looked a threat going forwards as always (would have scored the second if Ba had missed). Colo 9 - Immense Simpson 8 - Looked good going forwards, and had very little to trouble him until Walters went onto the left. Jonas 9 - Unbelievably solid. Looks like a good choice world cup fullback Cabaye 7.5 - Mixed. Some great balls, but lost the ball a fair bit too. Guthrie 8 - A more than capable backup midfielder. Obertan 8 - Mercurial, but looked a real threat on the break Best 8 - Worked very hard; unselfish Ba 9 - MOTM. What else can I say? Subs: Perch 2 - Only gets more than 1 as he isn't Smith. Sameobi 5 - Didn't get long, but what he did get was disappointing. Pards 8 - Poor substitutions, but everything else was absolutely superb.

Man of the match by a fecking country mile! Although I agree he's been absolutely outstanding, it would be a bit unfair not to give this to Ba.
