  1. A legend of the game - Roberto Carlos. One of the all time great left backs, although his recent years with Real Madrid haven't been brillliant.
  2. Don't want him here. Think we can do better than him, and there are many better players out there (Viduka for instance). He is going to cost quite a bit with the number of clubs interested, and his wages won't be low since he is a Man U player. He offers little other holding the ball and being a nuiscance up front. And he has shown (albeit in limited opportunities) that he couldn't work well with Owen. Don't think he could work well with Martins too. He hasn't improved since he moved to Manchester United.
  3. Baros contributed Carew
  4. When did the qualifier start? Was Matt Derbyshire registered then as he only came up on form for Blackburn half a year ago, and subsequently called up.
  5. Give some other proper under 21 players more chances, like what he has done with numerous substitutions?
  6. Nigel Reo Coker is 23 Kieran Richardson is 22 Leroy Lita is 22 Anton Ferdinand is 22 Wayne Routledge is 22 Leighton Baines is 22 Peter Whittingham is 22 Why does Pearce play so many over 21 players. It is not that there is a shortage of under 21 players? NRC especially, should be in England B. Even If he is not good enough fro England B he shuldn't be in under 21 team.
  7. Aston Villa Thomas Sørensen Stuart Taylor Aaron Hughes, Olof Mellberg, Gary Cahill, Wilfred Bouma Liam Ridgewell, Mark Delaney, Martin Laursen Gareth Barry, Stiliyan Petrov, Gavin McCann, Steven Davis, Craig Gardner, Patrik Berger, Isaiah Osbourne Ashley Young, John Carew, Gabriel Agbonlahor Chris Sutton, Luke Moore, Shaun Maloney Many unspectacular but good solid players. I think Aston Villa need a right back more thn a central midfielder.
  8. For Brummie Squarefootball
  9. How about Zenden in the middle? He played there for Boro didn't he?
  10. No, But have you forgotten what he's done in Lyon?
  11. Shame that we coulnd't get Le Guen here. Done wonder in PSG
  12. Would be great to have Ramos here. There will be an array of managers of the highest quality in the Premiership - can only be good for English football. Alex Ferguson Jose Mourinho Rafael Benitez Jose Mourinho Juande Ramos Sam Allardyce

Adam Hammil is the way forward!
  14. And you watch the game, support the tream, and pour money into it?
  15. And yet you know it is not meant as a joke. I respect your right to have an opinion and respect your enthusiasm but it is wasting both yours and my time and energy you critisising something even you yourself admitting you know nothing of.
  16. I am not too upset, as I am not immediately related to Hitler and Stalin. I, however, don't find it funny and think the admin should take a stance on this.
  17. Get a grip of what? Life? Reality? History? Reality and history say that both Hitler and Stalin are terrible being who have caused millions of death due to their personal greed, fantasy and bigotry. I ought to get a grip, yes. And I don't find it funny to joke about millions of death, war, humanity tragedy. Anyone who find it funny need to get a grip seriosuly.
  18. If it is not meant as a joke, then can I kindly ask what it is meant for?
  19. 1. Germany prove to be an extremely, extremely good host. 2. English fans finally part way with their hooliganisms, and win over many hearts with their singings and funs. 3. Zidane's headbutt. 4. Germany yet again do well in a major tournament despite the negativity surrounding them before the tournament. 5. Argentina's sensational goal. 6. Dissapointment of England.
  20. I would love that if Alan Shearer become big Sams no 2. He is going to learn many useful and incisive coaching and tactical knowledge.
  21. I don't think it is funny using Hitler or Stalin as avatar. The forum administration should take a stance on this.
  22. I read somewhere in this forum that there are more famous players who have worse disciplinary problems, or are worse models to the people, who are still revered by the fans. Gascoigne, Best, Adams, Keane, McGrath etc. They are terrible role models yet because they are obviously a class (or many) above Joey Barton (as football player) the public tend to be close an eye. I think I will stick to this. Unless a player is excellent or exceptionally good, I don't want players like Bowyer, Barton near my club.
