It is not black and white. Clean sheet matters, performance matters, goal matters, price matters, appearance matters etc. You have to find a balance. Different people have different approach.

The great French team won World Cup 1998 (hosted in France) and European Championship 2000 This great Spanish team won European Championship 2008 and World Cup 2010 The French team have Zidane, Vieira, Henry, Desailly, Thuram etc The Spanish team have Xavi, Iniesta, Villa, Torres, Puyol, Casillas etc Which team would rank higher, 50 years later ?
