But I'm completely totally absolutely mega ultra hyper astounded that you included Tim Howard in that list. Absolutely flabbergasted. Opinions. Howard > Harper I don't understand the hype around Almunia. I think he is a bit crap.

Krul would be a bad choice I think. He is a good shot stopper but he doesn't inspire confidence

Maybe we can get Coleman on loan from Everton. He is better than Simpson. And Everton will appreciate him accumulating Premiership experience

Simpson is definitely not Premiership standard. Caroll is good enough for Premiership, if I may be bold. Colo & Williamson look quite good together - but why do they keep conceding ?

Yeah i echo most people when i say for the most part he was a decent defender, any one remember the game against Chelsea when we beat them in the f.a cup he was outstanding and against a strong chelsea side. Same could be said for S.taylor, if only he had a brain he would be quality, though he maybe able t do something at rb, from what i seen he looked like a top 10 rb, imo I disagree. Bramble has both brawn and brain. On his day he is the epitome of intelligent muscular defender. Unfortunately, he has serious consistency and concentration issue. Taylor doesn't read the game as well as Bramble, but then Taylor is more consistent.

Why? Mike Ashley and all of his arselicking minions have been telling us for 2 years that he will personally fund this club to the tune of £20m every season. Considering next year is vitually guaranteed to make a profit with the TV money going up again then he wont be able to use the losses as an excuse......of course he will try to but its by no means unrealistic to expect him to put that money in when we so clearly need it. I can't speak for others (ahsley's minions). But I am for sustainable business and am against persistent personal funding by club owner. Our finance isn't the healthiest. Liverpool are struggling financially with 20M annual net spend. I don't think Newcastle are richer than Liverpool. I don't have the exact figures. 20M is my "gut feeling" figure

I think people are asking too much when they say 20M We musn't overspend, and we actually do have a decent squad spine Jonas, Guthrie, Routledge Enrique, Colo, Williamson, (Saylor?) Harper A couple of 3~5M foreign talents, a couple of free transfers will do. A lot of people cite Stoke - but they have spent shitloads. Our transfer policy should be similar Roberto Martinez's, Owen Coyle's, and yes, Sam Allardyce's. Blackburn Rovers is 10th on the table, just a place lower than the "brilliant" Birmingham who have spent quite a bit.
