Thought he'd broken his foot at the time, seemed to catch him right on the top of the foot and the way he got up and went back down is indicative of that too as you can still just about walk on it.

Agree with that, our foreign imports have been excellent for a while now, and if the same people who facilitated those deals want this guy so badly as to pursue him for much of the summer and then go back in for him even after he's rejected us, it's encouraging to say the least.

Never know how he'll play in the 2nd half of the season too, will be a massive ask to continue this form until May. Another player could hit a purple patch during that time and he'll be the focus of attention instead. Bit premature all this talk of him definitely being off.

QPR's squad is crap though, they'd never have come up without Taraabt (?). They had to invest they've just not done it very well opposed to the other two who got players like Morison and Graham, who look streets ahead of Bothroyd.

Chelsea are in a transitional period, but they've still got enough quality to be classed as a top team in the league.

Did you actually watch the game? They had one of the worst midfield combinations that Liverpool have put out in years and we didn't try and press them, harry them, try and actually pass the ball between them, we just let them have the ball and do what the hell they wanted with it and every time we got it, we panicked and kicked it long straight back to them. Against the top teams that is the game that bucks the trend though, we've played well against Man Utd, City and Chelsea and did pressure them. If we'd played like we did at Old Trafford at Anfield we'd have beaten them.

Nasri was rubbish, Johnson at least has looked a bit lively. Not what you want when trying to break down a team looking for a draw at best, lacks the guile.

Mancini has royally fucked this up. Nasri should have stayed on instead of Johnson and Dzeko should have been off 30 mins ago.
