At the moment I'd fancy us against Chelsea. We might be in a different shape after inevitable defeats in the next 2 though. A win against Chelsea would be the perfect response and boost.

Doesn't help he came on when we were on the backfoot, and his first thought would be to either stick with a man or slow it down, which isn't his game at all. Would like to see him start, it's the only way he's going to get properly match sharp. The intensity isn't the same at 70mins as it is if you'd start.

Guthrie was the biggest plus point, need him to step up soon. Honestly think Tiote being out might have been a blessing in disguise as with Guthrie & Cabaye we were able to keep the ball quite well which was needed against opponents like that. Nice to see that even with Tiote out we were still being aggressive with regards to pressing high up the pitch and trying to win it back before they could launch it too.

Ashley Young is up for the chop this week. Just got to decide whether to bring in Vdv or Lampard.
