They're only out there for another week or so anyway, a twisted ankle takes a couple of weeks at least to recover from. There's no point keeping him out there when he'd probably be better off at home. Don't think him flying home is an ominously bad sign.

It's even worse in long sleeve. Perhaps why it's cheaper than short sleeve. I won't be buying it but thought it might be of interest to some on here. I'm proper kind like that.

In a few of the training photos Gosling looks as if he's grown about a foot too. Great specimen.

I've stood near him and his little crew at a number of games, quite easy to spot as he's a tall fella. Always seemed quite passive depsite wearing their football factory get up.

The only player I would take that they have signed, at the same price, length of contract etc would be Gardner. Even then he wouldn't start. Really bizarre how they seem to think they've done amazingly well, I think they have done reasonably well but haven't bought anything that will push them up the league. They've padded out the squad well with solid players and we should take a leaf there, but there's very little quality come in to take them to the next level. I think we're almost the opposite, Ba and Cabaye in particular are proven top quality players and the right age, but we still lack the players who can come in and do a good job from below the first XI.

How does a zip stop you from losing a piece of clothing?

A sport without competition is utterly pointless, it would suck the life out of the game. Our sporting culture must be different because nobody would accept that happening.

I think if Pards goes for the one up top tactic which most seem to think he is, Best wouldn't fit that role. He's decent at sniffing out chances in and around the box, but from what I've seen his link up play and awareness aren't good. He's worth keeping as an alternative though, without a doubt.

Hopefully he fancies Ramires to fill in for Essien, and also goes for Moutinho.

I think he'll end up signing but still leave next summer.

Not if he turns out rather good and is a fifth of the price of N'Zogbia, jesus what am i saying, he's an Ashley signing if there ever was one Let's face it, he would be a good little signing as a squad player and someone to replace Routledge. But Lewis McGugan isn't going to be the difference between finishing 10th and finishing 7th, which N'Zogbia is capable of.

I'd take him, but can't help but worry he'd be taking up a role someone like N'Zogbia should be filling.

Still think it's a little too early to judge what is really being planned for the 35m. I'm prepared to wait until the window is over, but it's fair to say if we bring in Neil Taylor and Shane Long then I won't be happy. Clubs know we've had this cash injection and will try to hold us to ransom, that's perhaps why we're hearing these statements that seem to play down an upcoming spending spree. We all know Ashley is hard to read and we have pulled signings out of nowhere before, so I think we should wait to see. I HOPE the money is there and we'll use it to really improve the team when the circumstances are right, but you never know with Ashley. It's a difficult one to judge at the moment. Both 'sides' have a vaild point.

Arsenal fans are in the main, completely clueless. Their opinions are void. I would be pleased with Bendtner but feel he's too similar to Ba, so we'll probably go for Long.
