I think Pards is very lucky he has a very good dressing room already in place and a decent team spirit amongst the players. If he came in to a situation like the relegation season things would have already been going tits up imo. Players deserve a lot of credit.

Ashley is always liable to drop a shitebomb over the club, but when you look at Blackburn now it does make you think. I would love someone to come in to takeover, but I'm not as desperate as I might be thanks to the likes of Shinawatra, the Indians at Blackburn and even City's owners. I can honestly say I'd hate to go down their road. The club isn't in danger of going out of business and while there's no doubt Ashley is a complete mong, the grass isn't always greener. It's not ideal but we might have to suck it up for a few years and make the best of it. The direction of the club is almost impossible to call, though. One step forwards, two back sums it up well.

He doesn't dally on the ball like Enrique does and made some good interceptions today. Would also say that although not as talented, he is more effective going forward. Just takes a touch and whips it in, exactly what's needed, Enrique could take a leaf instead of pissing about and turning back/coming inside.

We can get through those two without him, we may have a new guy in to help things. Really need him for Sunderland though, would be a huge miss.
