Richard Keys ‏@TSKeysandGray Just had a call from Sky's lawyers chasing £20 outstanding on an acc I cancelled 6 months ago. £1 for every year I worked for them I suppose. He's not bitter like.

He was interviewed at Wimbledon yesterday and comparing himself with Andy Murray in that they both 'polarise opinion'.
  6. I would be thankful if someone translate the article, I only have my iPhone available so... Luuk de Jong wants to leave at FC Twente HOOFDDORP - Luuk de Jong has decided this summer at FC Twente to want to leave. There are several clubs interested in the services of the 21-year-old striker. Photo: Getty Images '' Luuk yourself out there. If he step can make the right sports, then he would be glad to do'', says his agent Louis Laros opposite TC Tubantia. '' And it do not need to be absolute top club. A good club in a big league prospect where he gets to play can also be a good step.'' The words of Laros can mean good news for Newcastle United, which is currently the most specific. The English club would have about 12.5 million euros for De Jong. Laros:'' At the individual names of clubs I'm not, but there are more than two clubs are seriously interested.''
  7. They're old quotes aren't they?
  8. Upping our bid from £4 mill to 7 - nee chance.
  9. We've had just the same type of displays at previous tournaments when Lampard was in the side playing at his supposed peak. It's complete bollocks to think he'd have made any difference now when he's nowhere near the player he was. Don't think he'd have made much difference because we were outplayed across the field. But we lacked any composure in midfield which was actually my point. It maybe your point but it's not what you wrote. Yes it is, you've even highlighted it in bold. We needed someone else in midfield, a cool head capable of a defence splitting pass, switching the play quickly or striking from distance. Pirlo was the difference in that respect but I'm not saying Lampard would have filled that gap. It was merely another injury loss England didn't need in a tough game and Hodgson made best of what he had available. We rode our luck a bit and fought hard but we just didn't have the quality espescially in midfield. Which you said was Lampard ffs. "We missed his presence"...He "ticks the boxes"

  12. Aye he deftly chipped the bar when clean through.
  13. We let Pirlo do his thing. Basically, we had no-one on him at all in the second half and as a result, he was able to do what he's good at - influencing play. When we were off the ball in the first half, we certainly had a fair few players tracking Pirlo but as the game went on, the players forgot those instructions... That describes their play yeah, but doesnt explain our complete lack of possession when we had it suddenly. We just seem to lose our bottle in general when hard pressed, resulting in long balls & clearances to no one. It's called lack of technique
  14. Because they know he's on his way somewhere else more likely.
  15. Playing midfield tonight apparently.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Why? L'Equipe hadn't suggested any sort of bid had gone in or was imminent. Just that Wenger might be interested. Ryder's just trying to appear itk by refuting something that hadn't been reported in the first place.

Phew thanks for that Lee. Finger on the pulse as always.
  18. That's nonsense that. Didn't play well tonight, like. What's he done apart from being neat and tidy and generally passing the ball backwards? Distinctly remember him being poor against Sweden before his goal and we did nothing as a team against France. I do like him, but he needs to be receiving the ball much higher up the pitch to be effective which won't happen they way we're playing. He hasn't even done that. His first touch and link up play has been abysmal.
