I predicted Graeme Souness would be a total fucking disaster...

I thought the more interesting bit of news is that Kuyt was available and that Owen has yet again been linked with Man Utd... Should have known that even mentioning Bellamy would attract the usual excitable idiocy.
-
So who reckons that we'll be clever enough to nick in and pick up Kuyt before anyone else does? Interesting to see Owen to Man Utd rumours are doing the rounds again. Slow news day, shirley?

THE RUMOUR MILL Craig Bellamy, Peter Crouch and Dirk Kuyt will be packed in Cellophane, shoved in Rafa Benitez's Datsun Sunny and taken to the 18th annual Wirral Car Boot Sale. Provided they can fit Crouchy in the boot, that is. With the £6.18 and Prince William/Kate Middleton commemorative wedding Tupperware set Rafa gets for that little lot, Liverpool will capture David Villa, Morten Gamst Pedersen and Benni McCarthy. Cartoon-legged, teetotallin', gambling man Michael Owen will whir about the GlazerDome next season. Until he gets injured. Microsoft's co-founder Paul Allen, the 19th richest man in the world, will take over Southampton this summer. Well, Matt Le Tisser always was a fan of chips etc, and so on. http://football.guardian.co.uk/fiver/

I was more thinking along the lines of "Monkey Dust"... "And no surprise to see Sven Goran Ericsson in the crowd"

His volley against Everton was epic though.

Don't mince your words so much mate. You should say what you really feel! Good to hear Dyer's agent rates him at £6M - I only rated him at £4M max. £6M though?
-
Should support your local team Dave. Maybe so. Not the kind of thing one can change though is it. [/chomp] No. Although there's times when I've been sorely tempted.

Something along those lines for me. I'd probably have Bolton in there now, mainly as I can't see them leaving any time soon. I'm in the Wimbledon camp as well. Probably bring them in for Wolves and Coventry. Fuck. I forgot Bolton. Mind, I was also havering about the likes of Leicester, Birmingham, West Brom, Charlton...
-
I miss them. Damn shame what happened to them actually.

No no. I got there first with a far worse one than that. I burn first. You'll probably just get slightly sindged

A dead Ball situation, if ever I saw one. RIP

Aye. But enough about Ramage...

Voted not sure. Sometimes it's a good thing for someone to speak out and tell it like it is, other times it can be quite damaging. Always had a bit of a soft spot for City, so I hope the latter certainly doesn't prove itself to be true in this case. I suppose it's quite bold of him to speak out like that, and that in itself is quite impressive - especially in terms of how candid he is. Having said that, I can't imagine ANY of our lot, other than say Given or Solano, ever speaking out like that for us. Can you imagine how long a NUFC player would last if he spoke out like Barton has? Not very long, tbh. Transfer listed and out the club before you can say goodbye.

The fact it's on True Faith means it's got 100% more credibility than the usual ITK bollocks on here, tbh. That said, it is probably bollocks.

Bowyer out last summer, and this summer it'll be Dyer. Shepherd will be happy as it draws a line under one of the most embarrassing on-field moments for the club in recent years. Of course, the fat fuck probably reckons Sidwell is adequate replacement. He may be right.

Make your mind up, son.

Reckon anyone would offer more than £5M?
