  1. Parker's an embarrassment to the very word "captain" let alone the club. Absolutely lacking in authority, leadership, ambition and determination.
  2. typical of Baggio and his ilk to think that the current board have ruined all the decades of trophies and success we had before they took control. Those were the days when we always appointed trophy winning managers, kept all our best players, bought all the top players at the right price at the right time and never made a bad signing, ever. What exactly is the point you're making here? I can't see it. Can you explain how your reply to Baggio's post challenges anything in his post (which I thought was a lucidly descriptive and incisively critical post, by the way)? It's not hard to understand, tbh. I'm sightly surprised as you're not as stupid as the other toonspastic wankers. I think you've made a judgement here before actually reading and understanding all of the post. So why don't you spell it out for me? Can't be arsed, mate. Just read baggio's post from start to finish and I'm sure you'll see. Erm. I already did. I still fail to see your kid brother's substantive point. Why can't you be arsed? Is it because you think I'm on the wind-up? I genuinely cannot see the relevance of NE5's post reply to Baggio. If it's so self evident, please explain it to me!

  4. So understated, Parky. As usual!
  5. I found it a rather hurtful thing to do actually, as they only started chanting that when I walked past them. :'(
  6. It's nailed on that Shearer will be the next manager if Shepherd is anywhere near as desperate to win back the Geordie nation as I imagine he is. Oh yes - "no ex-Mackems managing here thanks very much"...
  7. Thanks for being so underwhelming, Glenn.
  8. I've got my iTunes on shuffle...and Talking Heads' "Road to Nowhere" just came on right now. Ironic that, eh?
  9. Yea have the driver hold a sign saying Roeder Really?

  12. that will be right I believe this point was discussed about an hour ago. In this thread.
  13. was replacing Gullit with Bobby Robson a bad move and bad timing Bad move? no Bad timing? Well it wasn't the best was it? well, lets put it this way, what would you have said if we had sacked Gullit in the summer and got someone inferior to Bobby Robson ? Shepherd with ANOTHER poor appointment shocker. But tbf its not as bad as the old days, we all haven't got aids, we don't live in Iraq and werent all molested by our parents as kids so its not that bad when you think about it. well my iraqi parents molested me giving me aids, so i think i have the right to complain about shepheard. Good AIDS or bad AIDS?
  14. I might be wrong, but I thought that if news broke when the LSE was closed, they simply have to notify once it is open. I just thought that as a publicly listed company NUFC is required to notify BEFORE any decision is confirmed to the press. What's the London School of Economics got to do with this anyway? London Stock Exchange (LSE) Oh deary deary me!

  16. When was the stock market notified about NUFC's decision to sack Roeder? Just a thought like...
  17. We want NSG out Say we want NSG out...
  18. Still nowt on the BBC website. And I refuse to believe this news until Alan Oliver reveals it "exclusively" anyway...

Hypothetical one for you here: if Wenger or Mourinho were to take on the England job and be as successful as Sven was, do you not think they'd get ruined by the press too? You know they would. To all intents and purposes, Sven was mooted as a potential and worthy successor to both Ranieri at Chelsea and SAF at Man Utd not so long ago...it's only last summer's "failure" at the World Cup, and the Faria Alam affair that did for him and his reputation...none of which has any bearing on his ability as a club manager.
  21. LOL. For once, I wasn't actually including you in my thoughts. Just so you know. Sorry. I am now though.

  23. I'd ship out a whole load of mong posters from this board before I even looked at sorting out the squad, tbf.
  24. The whole booing thing was pure pantomime stuff really. Just like the performance that had preceded it.
