  1. The bottom line of all .com fixtures: So yeah, they've got it. It says nothing in there about them being the preferred fanzine. It looks more like they stumped up the wedge to reproduce.

An update of an old book to cover his time on Tyneside. Lets see who he blames for being a pathetic and useless lying cunt.
  3. I'm not certain it's NUFC.COM at all. Unless they acquired that status under Ashleys tenure because I think they were having a run in with the Club not too many years ago. Didn't Shepherd promise to have them 'shut down within the month' mainly because they had the .com name. Or did I just imagine that?
  4. Wembley just lost out on 2010 to the Bernabéu stadium. thank fuck for that.
  5. Can someone confirm that next seasons CL final is being played at Wembley? And is the same date as the Championship play-off final? So, in the highly unlikely event we make it to the CCC play-off final and miss out on automatic promotion it will be back to Cardiff then boyos? I hope to fuck not as it was a fucking nightmare from start to finish last time.
  6. I reckon Sheff Weds away on Boxing Day. Always take 5k to Wigan and they are just close enough and offer a larger number of tickets.
  7. If Given had not played a single game ever again from the day he left the Toon he would have walked away from football a very wealthy man who would never ever need to seek gainful employment ever again if he chose to. He chose - 13 games from the end of a season in which we struggled badly - to move to Man City who I know 100% had tapped him up previous to the Liverpool game. The bloke is pure and utter scum. Judas bastard- fact.
  8. He seen what was coming and went, in a way I don't blame him in another I do, had he stayed we may have stayed up and he could have left in the summer. But he stayed for a very long time and year after year he saved our arse he earned the riight to go for glory elsewhere. That was his job and he was paid alot of money to do, its not like its was a charity and he was doing it for free, Newcastle made him a wealthy boy and when the going got tough Shay walked away to another fat pay day In one. I posted on here the day he (his solicitor anyway) released his statement that he HAD been tapped up by City.
  9. "Fuck off you Judas twat" would be my retort.
  10. Think of the calibre of manager we could attract towards the end of Shepherd/Hall regime. Souness, Roeder and Allardyce. Mainly because the Club under Shepherd had become an absolute joke. FFS he even paid Blackburn £3m in compensation for Souness who had them below us in the league and was in massive danger of being sacked within days. He had made the Club virtually unmanagable. His reputation in the game is/was shot to bits and anyone anywhere near worth the salt wouldn't have touched NUFC with even a red and white bargepole. He fucked the Club big style and hope to fuck he dies before he ever gets a say in anything regarding NUFC
  11. I'm not pinning the blame on Shearer except to say that 1 win in his eight games was anything but earth shattering. Performances made no noticable improvement under his eight games. But, I do hope he gets the opportunity to continue and he can shift the shit and bring in his own players etc. Whether he's a success or failure it needs to happen for the sake of the club. Why hasn't Shearer said publicly that he'll do the job now for a minimal wage on a month to month basis until the takeover has been finalised. The Club and potential purchasers willnot be burdoned with an Allardyce scenario of 'their man' not being in place from the start. A gamble for Shearer but is it one he should think worth taking even if he is forced initially to work with the squad as it is now?
  12. I'd accepted it after Liverpool at home. I had an inkling we might pull it off when Shearer got involved but either the players where way past caring or Shearer was as Barton described and tactically inept. I'm hovering with my thoughts on Shearer as his input was zero.
  13. I think he might have been in cloud cuckoo land when he dreamt of that deal.
  14. Let my bus/train driver take the strain! While you relax and drink lager.
  15. Because he didn't suddenly become hit and miss in those last 10 games. He only showed up when he felt like it for many games before that and this season. based on what? Based on many s*** performances when you could be forgiven for thinking he wasn't even on the pitch, countless missed chances which a more accomplished striker would easily have buried/or at least tested the goalkeeper, his strops and disrespect of managers and coaches - and that's only this season. disrespect of managers and coaches? His antics prior to Stoke away were a fucking disgrace. If thats not showing direspect then what is?
  16. Freddie will be in it to line his own pockets. The warehouse deal is why Ashley banned him from the ground soon after his takeover. I remember when he proudly announced his dividends where 'not leaving the Club' as he was 'buying up as many shares' as he could - which invariably raised his dividend amount year by year. For what the Halls/Shepherd took out in divi's they could likely have paid the Owen deal in full with extra on top. Also, it was very likely the Halls as major shareholders who were pulling the strings at SJP. If the horrible twat was to return I'd hope it was as the front for major investors where he would have limited input into the financial side of things.
  17. I would not be surprised if part of Shepherds consortium was Alan Beansall. Head fella at Collingwood Insurance who were major sponsors at NUFC. He is also well in with TCS (<<good eh?) and pretty much had the run of SJP until Ashley rained him in.

I ve asked this before but what happened to the land at SJP Metro Station and the old brewery site? Prime for redevelopment if Ashley acquired said land in his original purchase.
  19. So do I. Be a nightmare getting that bastard back.
  20. 5live saying Shepherd has offered £75m and it could be sorted as soon tomorrow. Just what i've been told mind.
  21. Lee Stewart - Web Designer, the home of a completely wasted none fatal brain tumour. I think I win.
  22. Anyone copied to their betamax machine could run me a copy off?
  23. Did he? Didn't know he got all that as well. I'm sure I read somewhere he bought the lot from Hall/Shepherd. Might not have been entirely true mind. I'm sure someone will confirm or deny. It's the only thinking behind the £100m pricetag and a £140m potential loss.
  24. Ashley likely wont lose much if he does sell for £100m. He's likely selling the entire footballing side of the business for that price but didn't he also buy a lot of development land also? The Metro Station Car Park at SJP. The old Brewery land that was going to be developed into a 15 story hotel. Maybe he's thinking he'll clean up with either developing or selling at a later date this land. Just a thought.
  25. Yep, we had enough of that under that Pirate, Westwood. Cunt only needed a parrot.
