Agreed Might well do down with him TBH. Nah. Never gonna happen with him. He grinds out too many results the fucking hippo.

Moyes would be the only credible candidate.

Mackems will go down without him this season imho.

Aye, but chances are they're going down without him. Exactly my thoughts. Hope he gets it tbh. There's not a good candidate out there for England. Might as well give it to this chump, watch him fuck it up and then see where we are in a couple of years when there will be far better managers available.
  5. Really hope this goes to pens and this cunts ends up back at St James's.
  6. Sat here shaking my head at the cunt
  7. No way we get Wimmer. He'll probably be starting the season for them. Can't see any chance of them including Trippier either. As good as that would be. Spurs fans I know don't rate Ryan Mason at all but, in fairness, they all thought Andros was gash so f*** knows. Vertonghen & Alderweireld will be starting, likewise Rose & Walker. Your right we probably wouldn't get them, but I hope they Rafa/Carr/Charnley ask at least. Also Trippier and Taylor played a lot of football as Poch rotated his FB's in the cups etc. He won't sell either.
  8. That would be my worry - there does seem a worrying likeness in their games.

  10. Apart from Kane and Alli, no one chipped in with more than 6 league goals for them. Possibly in Pochettino's thinking. If they'd had Gini's 11 they might have won it. I think they've got an interest in Lallana too. Also about to sign Jansenn or whatever his name is. Looks like Poch wants better options in the final third to mitigate the reliance on Harold.

My Arsenal supporting mate reckons he's very well thought of there and has represented England at all age levels to date. Seems to think he'll end up being a very good player.
  13. Ah thought he was an 'off the striker' man. Glorified number 10. Be interesting to see if Lallana ends up back with Poch this summer.
  14. Wouldn't that rule out Gini?
  15. He's fucking brainless. His final ball is shocking 9 times out of 10. Everytime he breaks you just know he's going to cock it up
  16. He'll put a transfer request in as soon as the tournament ends IMO. Hopefully.
  17. I take it you just completely ignored the lanes, the pavilion and the coastline when you were in and around Brighton then? Have you actually been there? The lanes are full of moody jewellry shops, the beach is a pebble beach meaning those in the NE are far better and the Pavillion is somewhere you'd only ever visit once, at most . If that's the best you can do then it says everything tbqh. A city centre needs to be functional and the lack of a proper department store renders Brighton second rate. Why would you travel to Brighton to go to a department store ffs. This is the sort of daft attitude my mam used to have when we went on holiday. In the middle of a beautiful market and she'd be scoping out the city for a Marksies, it's pointless, why are you even on holiday and what are you on holiday from? Who said anything about 'travelling' to Brighton to go to a department store? You envisaging someone packing a suitcase in the forlorn hope of finding a Johnny Lewis in Brighton? The whole point of city centres having department stores is that local people can get loads of stuff under one roof. Otherwise they wouldn't have existed for yonks. They're basically the shopping equivalent of a city centre fulcrum. Can you imagine Newcastle without Fenwicks or John Lewis? They're a massive draw to people and a big reason many choose to shop in the city rather than locally or at out of town retail parks. Anyway, Matt Ritchie, great buy..........think he's going to tear up pre-season and get us off to a flyer. Then go home and make a list of stuff he needs to buy at the local department store with his missus the following day.

I quite liked him. Hope he bombs.
  19. Aye but Newcastle has the flagship store And is the original, I think. Anyway: http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,98054.0.html
  20. Fenwick in Newcastle is quite possibly the best shop in the world man! Yep.
  21. Wrong tbqh. You can't beat John Lewis and Fenwicks. Every city should have them.
  22. This is that infamous Benitez planning in action iyam. He's already planning for the time without the Chancellor.
