  1. This is so true - didn't he mention his 'experience' with difficult players when he signed the fucker too? Wasn't HBA mentioned?
  2. Tend to agree with both this and Ian W's view on this fella. Can't help but think that maybe one of him or Thauvin might've hit it off this season and both could potentially be 'difference makers' at this level.
  3. Think the Palace fans need to see that free kick just to reinforce the Pardew Out newcomers
  4. He also went for Colo last year and has been rumoured to be interested in Dummett in the past too. Or you could change your av? Ok. Will do.

  6. I've had a bad feeling all summer that he might be off. Would hate to sell him but if he's going, it's got to be north of £12m though surely?
  7. Penny is slowly starting to drop  .
  8. How come? No confirmation of why yet but probably to do with the recent take over by News Corp. I didn't even know it's been taken over tbqh. I don't listen very often but thought, at times, Collymore was fairly cerebral compared to other ex-pro's doing similar gigs. Collymore has never held back in his opinions of Murdoch, he's been pretty derogatory at times tbh so it was never gonna end well. Ugh. He's starting a new show over here now. God damn it. Collymore? Surprised he's got a gig over there with his criminal record. Its just a radio show, it'll probably just be recorded over there. Half of them are. Ah fair enough .

  10. Agree but would be good if the system deployed allowed him to be much further up the pitch imho.
  11. Agree with this. I think he'll bring back some belief as well with us having a proper focal point to the top third.
  12. Lots of good shouts. Gnabry has signed for someone permanently last week I think. Dyer a great shout though. Someone with pace and unpredictability would work well opposite Ritchie. Edit - scrub that, it appears I'm wrong, I could've sworn I'd read last week that he'd signed for someone.
  13. A fit SdJ could be the difference this season. Hope he stays and hope we can find enough cotton wool to wrap him up in.
  14. Jesus. He'll forever be remembered for 'that' goal.
  15. No way! Is that THE Dalian Atkinson?
  16. I'd disagree in that he's pretty much our sole hope of creating anything through the middle and he looks incapable of changing a game at the moment. He should be better than his levels of performance have shown since he signed. Something's seriously not right with the guy.
  17. This isn't just one bad game. Aye having big doubts about the lad. He's paying a bit of a price for his early career flexibility imho. He's been played on the wing, behind the front man, as a front man etc. I don't think this has helped him develop his game in the way that it first appeared he might. In his defence, he comes across as an intelligent lad, who appears to be willing to put in the graft/dedication required. He either needs a commitment from the manager in one position, through the good games and the bad, or he needs to sit the next month of so out and recalibrate. I really like him but he's not developed lately at the speed he initially did imho and, dare I say it, maybe looks like he's going backwards a wee bit. He needs some belief from Rafa imho.
  18. he has like. he looks totally disinterested for a start. Honestly doesn't look like he gives two fucks. I know he's always looked a huffy cunt but his 'demeanour' is really reflected in his game at the minute. His career is in serious danger of going down the pan here. I'd say he's at quite a serious crossroads.
  19. He could play out wide but he's been more of a withdrawn forward when I've seen him. He'd be great off Mitro imho. Not sure where that would leave Gayle though tbh. Edit - I should clarify that, when I say 'withdrawn forward' I don't mean that there's a number 9 in front of him, more that he drops deep in possession and they push people up at either side of him. So, essentially, he's been up top as their main man but not in a traditional Mitro/Carroll sense. Fuck knows, I know what I mean .
  20. I really like what I've seen of him - his movement/liveliness would be a welcome addition to our forward line.
  21. Agree. Get some points on the board. Ritchie to score. . Forum bet on Ritchie 1-0................Awaits 0-4 and a Big Jaap stam knee slide.
  22. Should've signed Pogba, and probably one of them german full-backs from the euros. Can't believe we weren't in for Higuain either - no ambition Yeah, that's exactly what I had in mind .
  23. Going for a scrappy 1-0 and, I hope, the turning point being reached.
