I take it you just completely ignored the lanes, the pavilion and the coastline when you were in and around Brighton then? Have you actually been there? The lanes are full of moody jewellry shops, the beach is a pebble beach meaning those in the NE are far better and the Pavillion is somewhere you'd only ever visit once, at most . If that's the best you can do then it says everything tbqh. A city centre needs to be functional and the lack of a proper department store renders Brighton second rate.

Like most of the south coast. I lived next to Brighton for 5 years and it's shite tbf. Some parts of the south coast are lovely though, in particular the small villages dotted around the place. There's not a city centre in the south (London aside) that can compete with the city centre's in the North like Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool etc.

Yep, I can get the argument he's not a Klopp type of player, and he would definitely be more suited to Rafa's set up, but he's going to have any amount of clubs looking at him right now, he's not going to drop down to the championship when his star is on the rise. He's had a decent tournament but I wouldn't say his star is on the rise particularly. If anything he's underdelivered at Liverpool. I hadn't realised that he'd been heavily linked with other clubs tbh and just thought there'd be a natural synergy between him, Rafa and NUFC. Must admit I'd never really rated him before, but when he's in the Welsh midfield alongside Ramsay he looks quite a clever little player. Not well suited to the pressing game maybe, but I could definitely see him shining under Rafa. Yeah I agree, hence the suggestion/feeling. I reckon he's the kind of player you'd almost have to build a side around but, if you did, he'd be a different level in the Championship. He'll not get games next season and probably isn't in the Klopp mould longer term. He's been one of the star performers for Wales in the Euros. Yeah, I know but I'd still be surprised if Liverpool wouldn't take offers on him. He's not a Klopp player IMHO.
