Is that genuine? He's as thick as mince this bloke. He's from the Pardew school of dreamers that's for sure but at least AP had the bullshitting experience to at least look like he could pull it off. This cock looks more like the one that lies about all the shagging he does in the Inbetweeners.
  2. We're like the new Wigan. How shit does that feel?
  3. Agree with the first five. Would probably take WBA out of it as they will pick up wins. I also feel Bournemouth should be ok as Wilson is back in 6 weeks and they won't be cut adrift. They deserved 3 points against us and picked up one away at Swansea. 4 from those 6 would have made a big difference to them. Norwich/US/Villa/Mackems is my bottom four. Any order you like.

Sad reading but bang on, in everything. We need to focus on getting Ashley out from hereon. We need the protests and chanting to resume. The twists and turns of the Ashley saga have only two chapters left imho. Appoint a figurehead or sell up. Even with the current fan apathy/malaise, even the idiots cotton on eventually and SMc will start to take some stick. Possibly even after next weekend because of the Pardew factor. He then either appoints someone capable of major cultural change OR another McClaren, Kinnear etc. He either wants a competitive club () or he doesn't. Those words from May will come back to haunt him soon.
  5. Ronaldo would be a difference maker to any of the top 4. Send him to Arsenal and they'd win the league imho. He'd probably make any of the traditional top 4 champions if he stayed fit for the best part of the season.
  6. I certainly don't think Bournemouth are anything like a certainty to go. It'll be 2 from us, mackems and villa joined by Norwich imho. I think Allardyce will be given good dollar in Jan to keep them up and probably manage it. He's just got to find a formula to stop them conceding and make them boring. He'll do that imho.

I guess I was one of the most vocal opposition to his appointment, even when it was just rumoured but, even after the shitty start, I actually think the problem is bigger than him. He's clearly not the man to bring about any sustainable change. That's a given. But I do think the very fact the club has been steeped in a 'do enough' culture for so long that 90% of the current squad have lost all ambition. Ultimately, when your biggest 'sell' to the likes of Sissoko, Thauvin, Cisse etc is 'come here and then move to a big club' you reap what you sow. We've effectively taken out the competitive element of sporting life and replaced it with financial caution/minor prosperity and, as a result, we've not signed ambitious sportsmen, we've picked up talented employees who have the odd good shift but more bad with no consequence. When there is no punishment for failure, at any level of the club, then the rot sets in. Ours is well beyond that stage. It's so far embedded within the club that one gust of wind would blow it all over. You can't say anything other than the writing has been on the wall for a long long time. For fucks sake, Us, the mackems and Villa have been like the cumulative turd that wont flush for years. If you believe in form, in probability, in likelihood then it's fairly inevitable that at least 2 of the 3 of us will drop this year. The writing is on the wall. If it's not this year then next. No matter. To change this level of damage you need an absolutely inspirational figurehead. A Klopp. That's why I was harping on about him so much in the summer, probably rightly to much amusement, but we need a huge change. It's also the reason I wanted Vieira. A risk, sure. But a potentially huge figurehead. The reason they appointed SMc is because he's 'grateful' and they like that. He's pliable. He's drinking in the last chance saloon and, after being sacked by Derby, it was pretty much last orders. The game Ashley has played at NUFC requires him to have total control. That's why everybody, in every position, is arguably out of his or her depth. They are the grateful, the subservient, loyal to their master. Take a long hard look and think who would get an equivalent job at any other PL Club? Don't even limit that to the playing staff, the coaching staff, the management team. Oh no. Look above them and ask why a club secretary is now the MD, the Head of PR was a dogsbody at the local airport, the last MD was a glorified croupier, the coaches, post KK, have all been yes men. You can't polish a turd. Especially when those responsible for said turd won't even invest in polish, cloths or waste bags. They'll use some knocked off windowlene, the kitmans old shirt and the free bag for life from Sports Direct that we probably paid £30 for in a reciprocal agreement that only actually reciprocates one way. Strip ambition, strip class and strip integrity and you're left looking for a miracle should you ever actually want to turn things around. And these guys don't come around very often. Steve Mc certainly isn't that man. Klopp would have been but he plays a different game to that of Ashley. And quite right too.

Was just coming in to post the same thing. Bet you the baldy cunt puts out his log burner every night with a fire extinguisher. Comes in from work and just blasts the fuck out of it. 'There'll be no warmth or hope in this house you cunt.........blaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssstttttttttttttt'.

I bet Shearer's told him how good the current regime are to work for too.
  10. He's done it at two Premier clubs now. I love watching his teams play. Klopp will do the same at Liverpool I reckon. Agree on both counts. I can see Klopp being a ten year manager at Liverpool. Sadly.
  11. I've got a guy from Fitzdares constantly inviting me out for corporate entertainment etc trying to get me to join up. I know a few people who are part of the clique and some of the bets are staggering. It's also home to quite a few footballers who want to have a discreet bet... Yeah - scares me that I could drop thousands on the strength of a text message. Worryingly convenient.

  13. Pochettino is looking a top top coach btw. Spurs' spine looking excellent throughout.
  14. Gameweek 13 Watford 1-2 Man Utd Chelsea 2-1Norwich Everton 2-1 Aston Villa - chosen game - sorry on phone. Newcastle 1-2 Leicester Southampton 2-1 Stoke Swansea 3-0 Bournemouth West Brom 1-3 Arsenal Man City 1-1 Liverpool Spurs 2-0 West Ham Crystal Palace 2-1 Sunderland

    Rolando Aarons

Can't understand looking to loan him out at all. If Carr had scouted him and then signed him last season for a few million and he had the impact that he actually did for the games he played, we'd all be crying out for him to get fit and start every game. Schteeeve clearly doesn't fancy him.

For fuck's sake. Unbelievable. He only achieved a 99.9% fuck up rate, the relegation would have meant 100%. He couldn't even do that right the useless oaf.
  18. There was a lot of talk on Sunday Supplement a few weeks ago saying how highly regarded he was at City and how the Owners had been trying to talk him into this gig for a while to keep him out of Arsenal's reaches.

    Sunderland

I left him in on the basis that they won't be able to shift him. Who in their right mind will take him now? He'll have a relegation wage clause too, you'd have thought. Fair enough.

    Sunderland

I wouldn't have thought that they would be able to sustain Jack Rodwell's wages in the Champo. He'll be one of their top earners.

    Paul Dummett

A gaping vulnerability today imho. He's just not a LB. I'd prioritise LB ahead of all others this January tbh. We need some threat from here.
  23. Agree with this. The bold bit in particular - exactly what I thought during many parts of the game.
