  1. He's a fucking jammy cunt. He'll get a gimme off loads of fans at the start of next season and the shite of the last two campaigns will be forgotten. A couple of foreign signings and the daft cunts in our support will be fawning over the arsehole. Heaven help us if he actually manages to win a couple of the opening games. Standing by Pardew tells us everything we need to know about NUFC under Ashley. Soul destroying.
  2. Some people being him? He bandied about numbers last week the cockend.
  3. Arsenal -1 Liverpool -1 Man City -1 £50 treble = £340
  4. Might be worth comparing these odds with the Liverpool/West Ham double odds.
  5. He's ready for his next job. Obviously wants to be in the new club in time for pre-season etc. Hmmmm
  6. Similar. I'd be concerned with which one would do the most tracking back and if any of them are good enough headerers.
  7. Zanetti is a barbers dream. Short back and sides every time. Solid Pro. None of your fancy dan haircuts.
  8. Late to the party but me too. He's absolutely spot on is Nathan.
  9. FFS. What's wrong with the twat now? Another funny nose?
  10. Fingers crossed. I still need 2 goals from him yet. You the same??

    Loïc Remy

The deal is done for us to buy him but he doesn't want to sign.
  12. You and me both. A fucking cold. What?
  13. I'd go for a playmaker, two wingers, two new forwards and a commanding centre half. Don't really give a shite who providing they aren't chosen by that knacker masquerading as a manager.
  14. been saying this for 2 years while pardew has them standing still in lines kicking the ball to ba etc. and people were saying it was down to the players for fucks sakes I remember, in the 5th season, when we played at WBA (a) we broke from one of their corners and HBA, Ba and Cisse (I think?) combined to score having broke from the edge of our box to score in about 15 seconds. For the first time since a SBR team I actually thought we were on to something. I've not thought that since. he's a fucking lunatic for not trying to stick with that pardew like, only a lunatic or a diagnosed moron could have watched us in that game (around that time actually) and not thought to himself "well, by luck or good management i've stumbled onto something here which clearly works and everyone loves, this is what i'm going to do going forward" what a twat the man is
  15. Another season of transition, then. Yep - you've got to think there could be upto 6-8 first team squad out and 8-9 in imho. Another season of limbo, 'settling in' and various formations, approaches etc. At least it buys dickhead some more time though. mike ashley just shivered As I said in the AP thread, I can foresee from spend this summer but I'd still wager it won't be much more than £10m net. He'll make good profit on Debuchy & Krul which will offset some of the incomings. I'd also wager some of the incoming will be second string players to fill the squad - less than £3m signings. Probably most.

  17. Absolutely but how many of them would make a decent, front footed team? Not one. Change the manager, change the style and see how many of the Willo's, Goslings, Shola's and Taylors of the squad survive. It's blatant self-interest.
  18. The Managers role is absolutely pivotal. Its what joins the dots between the Owner (or Board) and the people whose job it is to deliver the aspirations of those above them. That much is clear when you see how half-arsed our cup campaigns are and have been. The Owner doesn't recognise them as legimate so everyone, Manager included, gives them zero priority. If Ashley said he'd give them all a million quid bonus for winning a cup, you would soon see a change in emphasis and a guarantee that we'd not be out in the 3rd or the 4th round. The Manager is the one who sets the tone, who informs the club culture, playing style and who is responsible for the delivery of satisfactory results. He can talk things up, generate belief and positivity or he can do the opposite. Just compare the styles and the respective vibes given off by Martinez (fuck all to spend) and Rodgers with our knacker.
  19. You'd be hard pushed to make a case that their success this season is down to that. They've got good players and a manager that has wrung the absolute best out of all of them. Clubs like ours (and the Premier League in general) want you to think it's all about money but it isn't. Of course it helps but there's nothing (other than fear and defeatism) to stop a club like Newcastle doing what Atletico Madrid have done over the last three years - both are a very similar size in terms of stadium and revenue. Get the right manager and go from there. Bang on. Rodgers has them playing very well. And that's it. Why can't we appoint a manager capable of implementing a style of football & some belief from the players consistently? yeah totally bang on, basically what martinez is doing at everton really Exactly. That's what fucks me off about Pardew more than anything. It's easy to point the finger of blame at Ashley (and I hate the guy as much as most) but AP has been given a squad littered with internationals. All he's got to do is find a way of making them play. You can't tell me that a Martinez or a Rodgers would need to spend that much money to get this core capable of playing to a level where fans would be happy: Krul Debuchy Colo MYM Santon Anita Tiote Sissoko HBA All it really needs is a top forward (or two) and a Cabaye-esque midfielder and we would be away. Those players are not shit. They are capable of so much more given the right environment.
