  1. Agree with this. There's no way they won't score at our place, so we might as well just go for it. Their quality in possession and movement the difference last night.
  2. I'm really worried about this one. Strongly fancy Fulham to turn us over. 4 games in 10 days is fucking ridiculous.
  3. We have to find a way to accomodate him during HBA's absence(s) as he's our only door opener when Cabaye sits deep.

He looked pumped last night. Nice to see some aggression from him. At times, he looked really pissed off. Good to see he cares.
  5. Overdante's my last racing bet of the day. I think. Egretta Island (5.35 @ Plumpton) is also tempting me a bit as it's Fehily and Greatrix - the same jockey/trainer combo from the first race which won. I've also got 2-1 Fulham and 1-2 QPR tonight.
  6. Sorry Neil, he did nothing. Was stuck on the outside with too much to do, pretty much from the off. Edit - his next runner is Overdante in the 1635. Currently at 11's on Betfair. I'll be putting a small stake on E/W.
  7. Credit for Life looks a good shout.
  8. Fehily's had his first winner already. Five Rivers. Got it at 6's, came in at 7/2. Also had it in a double with Victor Hewgo who won the first at Newcastle. Seriously, check out the remaining Fehily rides at Plumpton.

Mackems are going to love him. No doubt.
  10. Interesting day at Plumpton. Best Trainer there this year is Charlie Longsdon. Best Jockey there this year is Noel Fehily. Fehily is on 4 of Longsdons rides today. All of which offer decent value.

Is that what Moyes is on? Wow, never realised that. Aye, Neil was talking to me about it all. Moyes is paid highest at (might have this figure incredibly wrong) £80kp/w. Edit: seems in line with Dave's figure so is definitely correct. That's unreal. Why does he look so fucking miserable all of time?

Tbh the whole time I had Lee Clark in my head It just seems a strange gamble for a Premiership club to take. Look at someone like Norwich with Hughton, he got us promoted, fair enough that sounds similar to PDC's job at Swindon but then was doing well in the Premiership, went down to the championship and did well again so Norwich approached him and he is doing a decent job there. Swansea appointing Laudrup, QPR Redknapp, Reading Adkinson, Southampton Pochettino etc.. Just seems a strange appointment based on limited experience in leagues a few levels down. I would be very concerned if I was a mackem. It's not even the fact he's unproven. For me, if you appoint a Chrissy Hughton, he's a safe pair of hands. A steady Eddie. He's not going to slit his wrists and graffiti your office walls with his own blood and faeces because you told him a bid's been rejected. Di Canio is an absolute heed-the-ball. Full on mental. Timebomb. Irrespective of the relegation outcome.

Interesting to see how it pans out in the summer, providing they stay up, as PDC was known as having a revolving door at Swindon with players in/out all of the time. This hardly smacks of sustainability nor an ability to get the best from an average squad rather an apparent acceptance that he'll have dosh to spend on an already overpaid, overrated and underperforming squad. Shorts credentials have to be seriously questioned in terms of the commercial rationale of bringing PDC in. It just smacks of being short-termist. Seriously, if I was a mackem (shudder at the thought..........), I'd be wondering just what the long term plan is for them, what is the vision and how the fuck are the numbers going to look in a couple of years? PDC could have an argument in an empty room. There's nothing long term, considered or rational about employing him for the long term. Yes, he might rile a few no-hopers into a performance or two but, should they survive, then what? Loads of players out, loads of fallouts, loads of bad morale and then start again. Money grows on tree's in Wearside clearly.

The press are carrying stories today about Gazza maybe getting a chance to have a role at the club at youth development level at some point. No joking, if we get Pardew out today, I'd happily give Gazza the managers role. He honestly, honestly couldn't do any worse than this clown we seem to be stuck with.

FWIW there's no way I'd chop in Pardew for Di Canio.

Mate of mine is a Swindon Season Ticket Holder and was pleased to see the back of him. Average football, him wanting to be the centre of attention and constant strops. Good luck with that.

Retire. Nothing left for him to achieve. He'll always have legendary status for his feats in this area.

Nailed on to be Hughes I would suspect. Perfect match. They're cunts, he's a cunt.
  22. Yeah - it's going to be the very definition of a 6 pointer as I fear the Fulham game will be beyond us after Europe. Shits about to get real. We don't have a particularly awful record after playing in Europe do we? It's not so much the 'after Europe' bit it's more the sheer volume of games, the injury situation, the presure and the fact Fulham can rock up and give it a go with no consequence. And Mick. Yes. Or at the very least the little twat will have a stormer. About time the greedy gypo had a good game a St James's as he certainly didn't have many in a B&W shirt. Another player I've got an irrational hatred of. When's the cunt going to retire?

  24. Had a Man Utd/Man City/Wigan treble up today (@3.5's) but overall I'm down after backing City to win 3-0, Aguero to score in a City win and a few other daft little bets. I also backed a draw in the Villa/Lpool game tomorrow at 4's which would turn a small loss into a small gain.

Of course it's not. He set a side up to defend a 0-0 from the off. Against last years Champions. No spirit, no heart and no desire. Who else is responsible?
