I strongly fancy Southampton to turn them over. Saints aren't a bad side at all this season and the Mackems have got half of their team out. Spurs will also be going all out for the win so let's hope we gain a win from QPR, leaving them with a battle on their hands.

Tell the fat c*** to lay off the pizza's. Saw him on the Quayside outside Gusto's earlier today actually. Hope you took a snap for Jack Flash's benefit. https://twitter.com/DeanOliver8/status/331094114902888450/photo/1 .... That was before he'd sunk 18 pints and 3 kebabs.

  5. There's no way he's fully fit. "I am 100 per cent fit" http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,91227.msg4376727.html#msg4376727 He must just be storing that timber for Bonfire Night then.
  6. 15 Minutes of HBA at the end, running at their knackered defenders may be the difference. It may be enough on its own. I'd rather 90 minutes of Ben Arfa running at their defence tbh, no way I want to see him coming on in the 75th minute. I'd genuinely consider slashing Pardew's wife if that was the case. And if the little fat bastard has a shocker or is man marked throughout? He's clearly not fit, so I'd prefer to bring him into the game when he's not competing with their lot at 100%, towards the end when they're knackered. Fair enough, we should also preserve Cisse and Gouffran until the final 15 minutes too just in case they have shockers and/or don't score. Hold tight for 5/6ths of the game and then unleash the magic. Apart from those 2 are fully fit, aye, great comparison. I just think your reasons for giving our best player (and he was our best player literally 1 day ago) 15 minutes are counter intuitive. We're just giving him less time to make something happen, and we have less control of how the game is flowing when he does enter the pitch. Look at Liverpool, he came on with us 2-0 down, tried to do too much, lost possession and it was 3-0. Pardews tactics are always flawed in the second half of games. Keep it tight and then unleash a half fit HBA is far more attractive than the alternative, start HBA haul him off when they match him due to difference in fitness levels. My point being a half fit HBA is more effective against knackered QPR players than he would be at the beginning of a match. We need to be able to win a second half of football. HBA being fresher gives us more chance of this.

It's just more of his shitty excuses that you're falling for. We're not in the position we are because of who came in during January, we were in the shit before they arrived. He also has a role in where we buy from and who we buy so he's once again chatting shit. Agree with this and think you're being extremely kind to AP in general Nixon. The lack of time to drill is tenious at best. How long did the new guy at Southampton take to exert his style upon them? 2 weeks. How long did Rodgers take to alter the style at Liverpool? A few months. Pardews had ages here and;- a) We don't have a recognisable style and b) He's had the luxury of already knowing more than half of the first team from last season which should enable their adaption to any new system/way of playing. He's not altered their games at all. I'll ask again because I don't think it was answered before but which players have improved under Pardew and who has he developed to the point we can rely on them 100% next season? Genuine question.
  11. Agree with this. We absolutely have to enter this game with some form of game plan. And by that, I mean an alternative plan to getting through the first half and hanging on as best we can, type of game plan. I'm completely shitting it already for this game. I just can't foresee a NUFC win.
  12. Completely agree. How the fuck do you contrive to take this squad down?
  13. Writing is on the wall here.

Fucking cretin. Bollocks to him and his rancid tactics. Negative arsehole.
  15. Prepare yourself....................
  16. That's why we won't get Benitez. Rafa got almost £6.7m when he was finished at Liverpool, donating almost £700k to a local childrens hospice on Merseyside.

This is no time for trivial numbers games.
  18. Christ. What are Ant & Dec? 5/1? Poyet's Brighton are nothing special. I've seen them plenty and they're not exactly easy on the eye. Must have just been us who made them look good then. They played us off the park in the cup tie. I know, I was there. Both years. We were absolutely abysmal both times and they were nothing more than functional. I disagree mate, they were well organised in defence and they had good movement off the ball when they had possession. I don't think that comes by accident. They seemed light years ahead of us in organisation. I realise a lot of people don't like Poyet because of his time at Leeds with Wise, but that doesn't mean we have to pretend he doesn't know what he's doing. My Accountant has a box at Brighton. I'm at the Amex pretty much monthly. Their set up (full backs advanced), all distribution through the diagonal and kickers at CB/CM would get nowhere in the Premiership. They'd get rinsed. You have to look more at the performances we put in on both of those days and give the result/Brighton performance some context. I agree that they are organised but their movement is nothing special, nor is their style of play. I'd not want Poyet. That said, he'd not come anyway after we upset his little dwarf of a best mate, so all good. Isn't that down to having Championship standard players? In any case I only put him forward if we continue with the policy of paying peanuts for a manager which kind of limits who we go for. If we are prepared to pay big money then I'll be happy to see Rafa here. I wouldn't have said that a couple of weeks ago, but defensive or not, at least he knows how to set up a passing team with some recognisable shape. I don't know.............You may have a point as I can't recall many teams coming up playing great football recently (ourselves included). I suppose Southampton/Reading were playing decent stuff but not exactly Brazil 1970. As for Rafa. Never going to happen due to £££'s, but as you say, at least the team would know their roles and what each other was supposed to be doing which would be a 100% improvement on where we are now.
  19. Definitely good. Five games in fifteen days, with the FAC final in the middle of it, that's bound to take a toll on Wigan. Yep, that's what I'm hoping. Demanding schedule to say the least.
