Nervous? Probably more like excited what with him being on an eight year deal *wink* an 8 year deal off Ashley is like rubbing a magic lamp and finding the genie is Jimmy Savile. All seems good at first but when it goes wrong you're fucked.
  2. He's having a proper strop there. Ha ha.
  3. Which WHU Centre Back were we heavily linked with last year? Tompkins?
  4. Doing the booking points bet again tonight in WHU/Stoke match. Over 45 booking points (10 pts for a yellow, 25 for a red). Odds tonight are 21/10 on Skybet.

Are they his genuine quotes? Yes. Stolen from Starforth/Ryder. Fucking hell. Words fail me.

I'm very surprised the toys haven't come out of the pram as yet. It's not like he doesn't have a history of that sort of thing.

Usually the case tbh Disappointing to see him increasingly feel the need to go it alone because no one else was moving around him. Absolutely. The lack of movement from our front 6 is always fucking dire, HBA excluded. There just seems no intelligence to their movement. Cisse, Ameobi(s), Ba (to a lesser extent) and Cabaye just seem so fucking static. I keep coming back to it but the word that jumps out to me every game is 'fluidity'.

I think there's probably more to the relationship than that. What I would say though is that Ashley has a real history of firing senior exec's in all of his firms/interests. He's fired a million and one senior bods in industry over the years but I don't feel Pardew is in any danger at all and nor should he be when they've not supported him with investment.

We'd have to look like getting relegated, or worse. The only way he'll get the boot is if he falls out of line with the Ashley regime i.e: doesn't tow the party line.

December is actually looking horrific. A bogey team and then 3 of the 'big 4' as well as on an form Fulham and QPR who will have a new manager. Pardew could be on the recieving end of some serious stick before the fat fella with a hefty sack comes bearing gifts.................and I'm not talking about his mate Ashley ahead of the Jan window. BTW, there's absolutely no way that the club were aiming to replicate what they achieved last season when they didn't back him in the market. I think there's an acknowledgement throughout the hierarchy that they will build the club very gradually with a view to being a sustainable club in financial terms who challenge for the odd cup and/or challenge for 6th. I don't even think there's a belief that top 4 can be breached by NUFC.

Don't agree at all, like. Look around at sides like West Brom and even Swansea. Even with our suspensions and injuries our first 11 on match days is no inferior to theirs. It's Pardew's obstinacy and lack of tactical nous that's cost us. f***ing 442 every f***ing game with no real attacking threat. The difference between us and sides like West Brom is that their manager knows how to get the very best out the players at his disposal. Our joker relies on individual brilliance to pull us out of the s***. We've not looked like a 'team' this year at all. No game plan whatsoever. I don't think its even tactics. I think there is a systematic failure to get the team playing football as a cohesive unit. This is absolutely, 100% spot on. Those words should be fucking cut, pasted and printed out before being stuck on to some fuckers clipboard at the training ground. There's been zero fluidity in our play since March/April.
  15. Had Swansea/QPR DNB double on at 8/1. Fancied Swansea to fuck us over all week, should have put it on as a single.

    Papiss Cissé

Of course you can. Retire from international by making yourself unavailable for selection.

Especially when their own fans rioted last month. I reckon he'll quit tbh. I should fucking hope so.

That's a fucking joke. We should have just played him. Fuck it.
  19. I'd go for: Foster (Neil)Taylor Kompany Colo Cole Fellaini Diame Cazorla Suarez Bale RVP Guzan Hoolahan Adam Kone Sessegnon Clyne Cisse (QPR) Neil Taylor on the wrong side but that's close enough.

If that is so and he cant see that himself, then he isn't good enough for the level he is currently aiming at. But what is that level Bimpy? I get the impression that DL and MA would be happy to consolidate this year with an average season/top 10. The lack of investment tells you that. What he tells us mate, he keeps saying we are aiming at the Champons League this season. If he cant see he is becoming as limited as the squad in achiving that. I'm not intending to do anybody down or belittle the squad but we were incredibly lucky in some games last year. It was just one of those seasons where we seemed to get the breaks and bounces. Not that this slice of luck wasn't long overdue btw. But with that, the investment Chelsea have made, the remergence of Everton, the Martin Jol appointment and subsequent investment at Fulham I just can't see us emulating last season for many a long year. It's safe to say it would take a lot of lucky bounces each season to finish above any of Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, Everton given the way they have invested and, Everton aside, will continue to invest. We're effectively playing for 5th/6th and hoping for a few breaks here and there. I agree mate but i would rather Pardew stop talking like we are Champions League challengers. We know he needs players but i'm doubting that if he got those players that he has the ability for us to kick on. He cant get the decent set we have now to keep the ball and play decent football. When you see sides like W.B.A, Wigan, Norwich etc playing far better football with supposed inferior players, my worry is mounting. And understandably so. Like you say, even if we pick up a quality RB and CB in the summer, can he get them to work in any given system to make any difference? I think that has to be a very genuine question going forward. Totally agree, its a wait and see thing isn't it. If and its a big if, Pardew gets a couple of players this January, well..... Exactly. I've said for ages a good RB would transform the side. You'd have to hope Pardew would enable that to happen.

He has to be given a free role behind the front two imho. Just something to link the middle of the park and the front line as well as giving us some unpredictability and movement. Yes. This is the answer. I've just decided.
  22. I think I am passed the point of seeing Ba/Cisse out wide. It's one or the other now. That has to be Ba.
