Don't believe we would sign him without being 100% convinced Jose was packing his bags. If there was any chance Enrique would be staying we'd be signing nobody so this is bollocks.
-
Let's be honest, that's not going to happen.

I think the outgoing Carroll turned his nose rather than the liverpool management turning his head but result is the same. Minor details tbh. They wanted him and went about getting him and it looks like they've got him. Yep.

Went to a club with ambition, can't blame him. Massive shame and massive loss. Bye Jose. Great full back.

£62,500 per week before tax. Jeepers.

Villa will always have a special place in our heart after that memorable day. Says a lot when most Newcastle fans can't even recall who relegated your lot. In fairness, that's happened a bit more often though, hasn't it? Didn't we relegate them last time? Or were they already relegated when we beat them 1-4? No idea - case in point.

Keep dreaming Fella. It's a one in, one out policy from here on in, with the exception of the planned striker.

I wouldn't think Joey would have a problem saying it to his face nor Prdews. The fact he's gone public would have initially been to respond to fans etc imho.

Any chance of a poll on peoples view on this signing?
-
To be fair, the Man U fan on here reckons he's turboshit, that's the only reason I'm concerned as he seems to have seen a fair bit of him. If I was just going off YT I'd say he looks a hell of a prospect. I hope he does well but the fact Fergie's letting him go suggests he might turn out to be an Ali Aliadere type, all fart and no shit. Yep.

Couldn't be more 'meh' about this if I tried.

It's like a mediocre german company picking up the phone to me whilst I work for a top 2 UK firm...................... Ze Germans: we like your work young Minhosa, we can see what you'd bring to our, once great, organisation. me: Why thank you kind german people, I could be tempted to be in your employ. Ze Germans: We have an offer in mind. What do you earn at the minute? Me: £1 a week, you wonderful germans. Ze Germans: Ok, on that basis, we'd like to offer you a whole 60p a week to join our fine establishment. Me: You fucking what? Are we talking pounds or some other currency? Ze Germans: We are talking british pounds. That's not all though, did we mention the staff bore-hole, the newly tarmacced landing area at the ground and the fact we'd give you your very own parking space, sponsored by a leading supplier of sportswear in the Uk. Also, in the event we recieve an acceptable offer for you in the future, not only would we not stand in your way, we'd provide you with use of the company chopper, with free pilot (*Note - you would be contractually obliged to pay for the fuel from any signing on fee). Me: Hangs phone up.

I'm just hoping it isn't already over.

This fucking window man. Can't wait til it's over.

Even though I rarely agree with anything he posts, I do enjoy discussing stuff with him because he's sound.

It took a whole summer to understand what this fella wants in wages? Fuck me.

Is Mike Ashley the worst person ever to have been associated with NUFC?
Minhosa replied to AlanSkÃrare's topic in Football
Yep Toon25 - didn't take Mort long to realise it would be career suicide to stay around, when he saw what was coming. Dekka will go back to making sure the gaming room floors are hoovered and croupiers have got clean shirts when this is all over. Can't wait. -
The guy has been dicked around with his contract, saw his two good (best?) pals at the club dicked around and sold off, a manager he seemed to have a good relationship with sacked without reason and replaced with a mong and has also seen blatent lies Dekka and co about the £££££££££ being reinvested. He's got every right to be angry. If you add those issues + his personality (which some would say it's a managers job to manage) then the outcome was only ever going to be disaster. That said, I appreciate the fact he's got the balls to offer an opinion, whether people want to hear it or agree with it is up to them.

I think people need to look at the reasons for his behaviour. His reaction may be far more palatable if you consider what/who he's been telling with since Jan. Any arbitration panel/judge who considers his actions won't be from the viewpoint of the common fan. All Ashley & Co will have to argue is that his actions are potentially damaging to the club/club's reputation/owner's reputation/whatever-other-clause. I fail to see how any arbitration panel not made up entirely from members of N-O would side with Barton. Who said anything about any panels? It's not going to get to that now is it? If he appeals his fine it has to go to someone for decision? What in the world are you carrying on about? It won't go to a panel man. He'll be off within the next week and we'll waive the fine to get rid of him.

The club will get their way - big £ off the wage bill, one less person around with an opinion and the PR risk minimised. JB will get along just fine, hopefully spilling the beans on the way to enlighten those fans with the wool over their eyes on the behaviour of the board. The fans will lose out, because that's the way it's always been under the current owner.

Yeah, I understand that, I just think there has to be discipline at football clubs and this sort of behaviour isn't acceptable. FWIW I also think the club has overreacted a bit, but I think that has a lot to do with the fact he was leaving at the end of the season anyway so they don't see any point in persevering with him. I point to the Managers role in this again.
