He’s playing badly and being fairly criticised, just like he’s rightly praised when he does well. Obviously there are fans on twitter overreacting but that happens with any subject.

They also have Everton and Watford to play, and Everton also have Watford so that’s 3 teams below us who can’t all pick up wins from those games

We are ten points clear of Burnley, how would 2 more wins than us be enough for them to make our match a relegation decider ?

Even if we do struggle to get a couple more wins, the fixture lists of Burnley, Everton and Watford alone should be enough to keep us safe.

As I said in the Everton match thread, Watford play Liverpool and Burnley play city on the same weekend, would expect the gap to remain the same at worst with one game less to play.

Hopefully Kane and Son get injured on the international break

Who’s saying get rid ? I’m saying we hopefully will be able to strengthen to a point where he either shapes up and becomes the player we know he can be, or he doesn’t and he eventually leaves.

We may well be in a position to strengthen the squad to the point we don’t rely on him at all though.

But that’s the issue it’s one game in his many ?

Also worth noting, Burnley have City next and Liverpool have Watford so the gap is at worst very likely to stay the same

A performance like this was always on the cards given the run we have been on, playing 3 away games in a row, and the fact our squad still has such a lack of quality in key areas. We have done brilliantly to get ourselves to this position, just need to get to the summer and the rebuild can really begin.

Thankfully we have a 17 day break till the next game, hopefully Wilson and Trippier are close to a return. Got a really tough run in going to be a scrap to get some points.
