I think most of us myself included have thought that the only thing Ashley is bothered about is not being relegated, but I’m not even sure you can say that now. If he did and the takeover was close or reliant on safety then Bruce would be gone.

Every time we get any sort of update it always seems to be along the lines of news within a few weeks. We just need a resolution one way or another to draw a line under the whole thing, because I can already see this dragging into next season. Also the but about him being confident the premier league would win the case is quite concerning.

I thought it was the fact that the premier league didn’t believe PIF where separate from MBS that was supposedly the reason for the takeover falling through and the subsequent legal cases and possible arbitration? If so the Qatari/Saudi relationship is surely irrelevant and not important at all in the takeover being resolved?

Don’t think it’s that simple. I think Jacobs is meaning all the prep and choosing of the panel is part of arbitration where as I think Kennedy is meaning the actual hearing So In a sense they are both right Possibly. But why not just say that? Kennedy leaves everything far too open for interpretation, whereas Jacobs is always very clear and to the point. That’s because Kennedy is drip fed tiny bits of info without having any real knowledge whereas Jacobs has been pretty much spot on with his info since the beginning.

That would be a valid point if we didn’t know Ashley and his history of not caring at all about the club and always gambling we will have enough. I don’t think him not sacking Bruce has anything to do with a takeover being close, more that he is willing to risk it again because we aren’t in the bottom 3 yet so he doesn’t see us in major trouble and as a result saving himself money.

Going of that Matt slaters tweets filling the article he has published, we are absolutely in the same position we where when the buyers pulled out months ago, going around in circles he describes it, and absolutely no end in sight.
