What, ever? Not sure I agree entirely with the molly-cuddling of HBA. If he is genuinely fit, let him play. Obviously, if he isn't that's another question but if you start pulling him from games where the opposition are a bit rough you're going to end up pulling him from a lot of games. Agree .. the last thing he needs is to feel we do not have faith in him being able to cope with the rough stuff, if he has the confidence to face them then he should. Next season yes, but if we are safe then there would be no point at all.

There probably isn't a specific rule about swearing into a TV camera but there is one about swearing (which Referees rarely enforce). I bet people would complain if players regularly got booked for swearing but it is in the rules so the Refs would be entitled to do so. True, but with this decision, the FA have now open the floodgates, every player caught swearing now will have to be banned. I don't know what the specific rule is but if Refs gave a yellow card to any player who came up to them swearing about a decision they'd soon learn not to do it. It may stop teams crowding the officials too. I imagine it would help with the FA's Respect campaign. So if they only get a yellow, why give Rooney a two game ban?

It's a big if at the minute though. We have only played it against Wales and Ghana, as soon as a half decent team batters us again, it will no doubt be back to 4-4-2.

Footballers playing on the big stage have a moral conduct to their professionals, club and mainly the 100's millions watching allover the world. Suppose it's just a matter of if you really find swearing offensive, i don't, but then again i don't have kids of my own watching the match so i understand where people are coming from. I really wouldn't say it is worthy of a ban though.

Last time I checked, the 79th minute was during the actual match. He didn't do it during play though did he? What im trying to say is that if swearing constantly at the referee isn't worthy of a ban, then how can swearing at a camera be? What if it was foul and abusive language towards someone in the crowd? If the crowd give it out, then they should be expected to take it.

Vidic or Nasri Hasn't been a standout player this year like.

So the ref said he would send him off for swaering into the camera? what about when he gets away with telling the ref to f*** off, and what about his failure to send of Vidic. The ref just made himself look like a bigger clown with those comments.

Barton is playing the best football of his career at right midfield, why would you want to change it? Did you even read his reason? Yes he wants to spend big money on a postion that isn't a priority, meanwhile move our best player into a postiton where he has never performed for us. Are the words IF NEEDED not appearing on your screen? Our next game we dont have Nolan, Tiote or Ireland(yeah i know) so it would be quite good to have someone good to cover Barton when he moves inside. Its pretty obvious. What i am saying is i would spend big money on priority positions before spending big money on someone to warm the bench.
