Graham Carr becoming a major problem at the club? Wanting McClaren and those potential signings are hardly inspiring, mixed with his awful record over the last transfer window.
-
According to SSN bloke on twitter, him and McClaren are on the short list but there are others on it as well.
-
But he already absolved himself of blame in his interview yesterday.
-
Ashley dropped a hint it would be carver yesterday when saying he doesn't pick the manager. He was basically shifting blame for the inevitable backlash that is coming. Any way we won't be in the relegation battle with Carver next year, there won't be a battle we will be cut adrift by November.
-
If he was serious about what he said then something positive would happen on the manager front today.nThis would be followed by early breakthroughs in the transfer market. Neither will happen, Carver will get it and we will be in the same sort of position next year when he will say something else to sell season tickets. AshleyOut is working and this is his way of trying to stop them, hopefully they don't fall for it and spend the summer coming up with bigger protest plans.
-
Who was his celebration aimed at?
-
Linked with Besiktas in french press.
-
So we are in for Jemez then?
-
Haha don't feel guilty. Your right about Messi any player would be honoured. Then of course there is Neymar, Suarez, Iniesta..... Is xavi definitely going?
-
Imagine this being your biggest concern about your club. I think pretty much any player in world football would be willing to wait tbh.
-
Whats sadder that there is even a poll on this, or that said yes?
-
Derby local news/radio also reporting it.
-
Here is the tweet btw... Scott Wilson @Scottwilsonecho 13 mins13 minutes ago Steve McClaren commits himself to Derby for at least another season ahead of tonight's club awards. #NUFC's summer planning in tatters. Maybe we said to him take over now or not at all?
-
Whilst I didn't want him in, you've got to wonder what on earth Charnley has told him for him to turn us down? How low have we fallen when he turns us down.
-
He has ruled out coming at all according to northern echo journo on twitter. Reckons he has just told Derby he will be there next season.
-
Can help but think his appointment would be the worst long term for us. He would probably just about keep us up this season, then after that we would be around 11th-15th. Think his appointment would knock any momentum for AshleyOut and most fans would accept it just like under Pardew.
-
Are Barca banned from the transfer market this summer still?
-
I love watching his palace interviews realising that no matter how bad it is here or how bad it may get, that he isn't here, that literally brightens every day up.

BBC Newcastle v Swansea (15:00 BST) Posted at 14:52 I know kick-off is still 10 minutes away but my word, St James' Park is empty. There is nobody there. A handful of fans. All is not well. Share Share this post on Twitter Facebook Read more about these links.

There'll be stuff going on outside the ground again I would imagine, and there's the big Sports Direct on Northumberland St which is one of the branches being targeted. Cheers
-
Other than going to the games I don't spend time in and around newcastle, so anyone know what would be the best place to go to join the protest?
-
Since I was supposed to be going to the match this weekend but am obviously not now, anyone know what exactly is going to happen during the sports direct protest? May well still travel up for it.
-
Clutching at straws, but surely appointing Carver would be the surest sign yet that he is going to sell next summer. Everyone knows his only care and worry is staying in the premier league, appointing Carver 100% guarantees relegation.
