Whilst I didn't want him in, you've got to wonder what on earth Charnley has told him for him to turn us down? How low have we fallen when he turns us down.

He has ruled out coming at all according to northern echo journo on twitter. Reckons he has just told Derby he will be there next season.

Can help but think his appointment would be the worst long term for us. He would probably just about keep us up this season, then after that we would be around 11th-15th. Think his appointment would knock any momentum for AshleyOut and most fans would accept it just like under Pardew.

Other than going to the games I don't spend time in and around newcastle, so anyone know what would be the best place to go to join the protest?

Since I was supposed to be going to the match this weekend but am obviously not now, anyone know what exactly is going to happen during the sports direct protest? May well still travel up for it.

Clutching at straws, but surely appointing Carver would be the surest sign yet that he is going to sell next summer. Everyone knows his only care and worry is staying in the premier league, appointing Carver 100% guarantees relegation.
