Thank you MrRaspberryJam for bestowing this great privilege and responsibility on me, I will endeavour to boost the team to glory via the medium of Sweeney’s glorious goodies, whilst respecting the Football forum’s serious nature

Looks like a fan that’s won a ‘be a footballer for the day’ experience

Hoping for a draw, can’t bring myself to want either team to win

Captain obvious here, but just shows how a few injuries in a smallish squad can spiral out of control due to the extra demand on the remaining players. Gordon and Isak have been off it for a few games so this info ties in with that.

Need to get him on a Pardew special length contract!

I’m confident we will get a positive response. The last few games reminded me of the dip in form before the cup final last year (the players may have been distracted by the Milan game in a similar way). We very much rely on our physicality / running to bully teams at times, so a return to a more manageable fixture list (minus Europe and returns from injuries), mean we should be able to turn up the ‘pressing’ dial again.

West Ham are ahead of us in PL form table

I just enjoy liking our manager as a human being and as an ambassador of the club. Having success with Eddie would be the best thing ever and after the state of the club he inherited, he’s got my backing (for a long time)

That PSG home win will never be forgotten

We’ve had an absolutely brutal group of CL regulars so no shame going out. I’m happy to not be in Europe if I’m honest, but it does mean no more excuses regarding our league form (injuries aside)

Surely he can’t be worse than Duds
