  1. Garth Crooks WTF: MIDFIELDER - YOHAN CABAYE (Newcastle) Yohan Cabaye This lad is playing out of his skin, and what is more, he is scoring some fabulous goals. Last week, Newcastle felt so aggrieved because of a disallowed goal that they allowed their game to fall apart. Not so this week. Manager Alan Pardew and his team kept it together, and look what happened - three points in the bag against West Ham. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25803687
  2. How come everyone else goes to swansea and makes them look shit and we get stuffed 3-0 ??

    Sunderland

LOL I was thinking that too, how the fuck is he gonna look like when he gets to football retirement age ?
  4. Really, you 2 are saying that? I was there and it was canny enough but howay man. Yeah, I'm not quite sure about that statement. West Ham were fucking awful and we were just exposing them.
  5. That's just f***ing stupid. Rewatch the Aston Villa game where we beat them 6-0. That game was as complete a centre forward display as I've ever seen. On his day Carroll can be absolutely unplayable. He's just been ravaged by injury, he'll never find any kind of form again until he can play consistently for a 6 months or so. The only reason I wouldn't have him back at SJP is because of his injury record, nothing to do with his ability at all. Caveat caveat caveat. On his day, Kenwyn Jones is unplayable. Carroll was good against a poor Villa side. Any more examples of Carroll being 'absolutely unplayable'? Any against good defences? Really we doing this ? Off the top of my head, Arsenal away Liverpool at home that season. There was a reason why Liverpool paid 35 mill, others were prepared to go in 20 million plus territory, they guy was tearing up the league that year. We sold him at the perfect time from a financial point of view. Saying he's limited or not very good to use your words, is just plain stupid man.
  6. He may and he may not. He's set up for life with the two moves. He might not have gotten that in 10 years with us. He's also probably thinking that had he not been sold he could have struggled to get another contract with us based on the amount of injuries he's picked up. I know we're not the biggest payers but come on. He got two hefty signing on fees on 87K or something stupid at Liverpool, I'm sure West ham are paying him pretty close to that too. Easily 10 years before we were close to matching that kind of income for him.

Want: Mackem Bastards, West Ham and Stoke Think: Palace, Fulham, Cardiff
  10. WTF is Pleat wittering on about, he's on side ffs.
  11. I have no idea why I bothered to do that. LOL, I laughed, reading back it does sound very much like something he would say, perhaps I'm turning into to him as I get older, fuck me
  12. We are neither too close to the bottom or close enough to the top to make this game a must win. But in terms of intent and ambition, we really need to stop the slide here and pick up a win. I don't think we'll do it though, West Ham got a great result last week and with Carroll back they'll be hoping they've turned the corner now. I don't think Pardew will get his tactics right, he'll play like West Brom all over again, and hope for a 1-0 but end up with a 0-1.
  13. But this is what is so frustrating for me. We've been sub consciously put into a thought process whereby we are happy to accept limited success which an 8th,9th or even 10th place position will be. Without investment at this stage, I think we can all accept that this is the height of capacity to reach, thoughts of challenging for champions league spots are a far fetched fantasy really. As I've said before, these are sad times, and a clear indication of the direction this ownership wants to take us in.
  14. Can something fucking exciting happen, I'm bored with these last two transfer windows.
  15. Totally. This place is crazy.
  16. Unfortunately personally I am rattled, they are in better form than us right now and this new found ability to kick our arses they've found has me worried about the fucking derby again
  17. At the match I thought Nasri had jumped up in the air like a total fanny trying to win a free kick, wouldn't surprise me if he hurt himself from his fall as he was that high up in the air. Tbf, Mapou did kick him on the knee like. It was a borderline red/yellow, tbh, it was a wild lash out. Wouldn't have had too many complaints if it had been red but at the same time it wasn't a clear red by any means either.

    Loïc Remy

I have to say that I'm having my doubts about him of late, maybe he was in a purple patch of form when he signed, just like Cisse. Who is the real Loic Remy, he was out of form in France before he joined QPR ? Or is it just as simple as we are using him ineffectively ? But he's had chances of late and not took them. I'm certainly not as bothered now as I was at the start of the season that he's likely not coming back next year. Hopefully he's just in a bit of a bad patch for form and normnal service will resume soon, if not, then I would rather we concentrate on developing our own players and playing them ahead of him tbh, in the meaningless end of season we have in store for us
  19. It's sad isn't it, that 8th should be our pinnacle
  20. Surely, from a psychological point of view, there is a difference between how the 2 words are recieved, regardless of their meaning? For a lot of people, but then again it's the with swearing. Some people are so insulted about, others use it often. To me swearing is just away of expressing frustration, it is no different to raising a voice. I dunno, I find it highly fucking disrespectful to use bad language, just makes you look like a right cunt, who doesn't the other sad bastard's opinion and a bit of a dick sucking fuckface. tbh
  21. He is right though. It was an awful decision but Pardew is a right prick In what respect ? We just had a awful decision go against us, what do you want him to do, just shrug his shoulders and shake everyone's hand. I have no problem at all with his emotion today. I don't want him to call the opposition manager an old c*** You mean the old c*** that thought the refree gave his team no help at all today. Hmmm Managers defend their teams and rightly so. Pellegrini is now and always has been a much better manager and person than that arrogant prick Pardew Being a better manager doesn't make him not an old c*** and to say what he said after the game is just bizare and plain sinile, he's an old c***, pardew got it spot on. What kind of person calls another man they don't know an old c***? It happens every day life all the f***ing time man, when someone acts like a c*** and they are old, calling them an old c*** in a highly emotional situation is completely fair. It is if you are a complete knacker What kind of person calls someone they don't know a complete knacker?

  23. All the results have gone against us this weekend, it's pretty bad, all we really have left now s a fight with Southampton for 8th place
